I spent my evening in tears, unashamed tears that were shed in large quantities and loudly. I had to stop reading because my Kindle got blurry and I had to wipe several wet spots off of it. I can't believe I have to be at work in 8 hours, I don't think I will even be able to sleep. If you read this book - save it for a morning where you have zero plans to leave the house for at least 48 hours. Trying to explain why I only gave 3 stars without spoiling. My heart broke at a point in this book and I feel like it did not get put back together. I get so emotionally invested in characters and I feel like I was just left hanging after a broken heart. I feel like the last half could have been written a little different and I would have given more stars. This is the best I can explain without spoiling.
I did not enjoy this book - I wish I did not read it. I thought it copied the story lines of so many other current books and combined them all together. It seems like the author did not have many original ideas at all. The beginning was really good but the midding and ending did not do it for me at all.

This book - it was devastating yet beautiful, sad but happy, Insane yet loving...I can HONESTLY say I've never cried so much from reading...so many raw emotions that torn me to pieces.
It was the most beautifully written story that has so many twists and turns that I am sure I will need a few weeks to recover.

Taking Chances took me on a complete roller coaster of emotions!!!! I absolutely loved it!! :)
