I seriously had to sleep on this before I wrote my review.
From the beginning of Taking Chances I was super into it. Felt like one of those I like you, I hate you, I want to be with you kind of books. Nothing too much but boy did that change.
Harper an 18 year old kid leaves her hometown for a college that is on the other side of the US and steps into the world of unknown. She was home-schooled, never had a boyfriend and was always around Marines being that her father was one as well.

I did not enjoy this book - I wish I did not read it. I thought it copied the story lines of so many other current books and combined them all together. It seems like the author did not have many original ideas at all. The beginning was really good but the midding and ending did not do it for me at all.

This book - it was devastating yet beautiful, sad but happy, Insane yet loving...I can HONESTLY say I've never cried so much from reading...so many raw emotions that torn me to pieces.
It was the most beautifully written story that has so many twists and turns that I am sure I will need a few weeks to recover.
I feel like I've just ridden the worlds largest emotional roller coaster was spit out and was thrown 1000ft and landed with a broken heart in Disneyland with cotton candy in my ...more
