OMG. What an emotional read. I was elated, angry, elated, shocked, heart broken, and overall happy with the ending. The last portion of the book was so bittersweet to me, but I felt better about the resolution after I took the time to reflect.

After a heart to heart with myself I decided to take a chance on Taking Chances even though I read the reviews and it scared me.

Let me first say that Molly McAdams did a superb job in conveying her point and therefore elicited CRAZY emotion. If she hadn't, there would not be so many pissed off people reviewing this one…

This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. Halfway through the book I thought "I'd be happy if the book ended right now... what else could happen?". Needless to say that's when the twist came into play and changed the whole book. It is somewhat of a combination of the books Thoughtless and Beautiful Disaster. It is definitely a book that you become emotionally involved in and I guarantee you will shed a few tears. I highly recommend it.. but keep the tissues handy! This one kept me up ...more

This book made me cry...A LOT...AND OFTEN! Sheesh! I feel like I've been through some sort of emotional ringer...BUT with that being said, I thought this was a great book. I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on the twist in the story line, and I'm not saying I liked the twist...it made me cry...but sometimes in a book, you're SUPPOSED to get angry and NOT like some aspects of the story line! Damn this book kicked my ass and took names while it was doing it..lol I was moving along great really enjoying the book and then BAM out of freakin nowhere it shatters me into a million pieces. I was so pissed off and destroyed that I wasn't sure I wanted to finish with the book. Lucky some of my friends pushed me to continue. Do not read this book unless you are prepared for a gut retching roller coaster ride. And if you do decide to brave the ride have tissues on the ready!

I really did like this book. I think I would have given it four instead of three stars but I was really disappointed by a direction the book took. I think it ended really well but I just really liked Chase. I know, I know that is petty of me to not give it four stars just because of that....but there we have it.
