Great book and one of the classic "debut novels" of all time. Set the stage for several more excellent books, as well as some that were then, well, not so good. But early Clancy was good-to-great Clancy, and this is where it all began.

What an absolutely incredible first novel!!! Clancy established himself in no uncertain terms as a supreme master of the military-technothriller. I enjoyed every minute of it and the movie also.
