I agree w some reviewers that Silva's Allon series is more B&W and less gray than Le Carre and more action and adventure. I love both authors' work. What I love about Silva is his deep understanding (based on his years living and working as a journalist n the Middle East) of ME politics, history, and terrorism (as well as post WW II Jewish/Nazi European history) I learn so much and, when I fact check some of the details, they are accurate.
