I wasn't looking for a new series to get addicted to, but here it is nonetheless.
I got the first book some time ago, and was reminded of its existence when it popped up on bookbub, so I pulled it out and read it, since it's not too long and I was in the mood for some contemporary fiction.
It did not disappoint. I've made a point of not reading blurbs before reading the books attached to them, if the books were recommended by someone whose opinion I trust. It allows me to go into a mystery with n ...more
