I've been meaning to re-read the original books in this series for awhile as I have the last ones still to read and it's been years since I read these. I'm so glad I reread this. I think I actually liked it more in this second read than I did the first time around. I remember being a little thrown off by the structure of this book the first time around and now reading it I actually really enjoyed the way the book jumped from case to case even though it was out of chronological order.
