I thought it maybe started off a little slow, but the story gains a bit of momentum and definitely sinks it's claws into you as you go on. The second half of the book I was completely enthralled, I didn't want to put it down! I fell in love with the characters, and I need more books with dragons in them (recommendations welcome!). I'm sad it's a standalone, but it also feels perfect just as it is. ...more
