What is it that matters the most?
The originality of the plot?
Or maybe it's the connection you feel to the characters?
You may prefer to focus on the style of writing?
In the end, it doesn't matter when it comes to Betrayal since all of your requirements will be met...and then some.

WTF! Where have I been that I have not yet read any of Aleatha Romig’s novels until now? Aleatha you have ‘popped my cherry’ with BETRAYAL and immediately captured my attention with the twists and turns of this dark romance novel, making me feel many mix emotions while keeping on the edge of the seat. Seriously need a fan after reading this book. Or a cold shower!

This book is like every secret fantasy put into words. Who hasn't dreamed of being someone else or guilt-free, no strings attached sex with a hot guy? Somehow Aleatha has taken those unspoken, forbidden thoughts and brought them to life in the pages of Betrayal.

Nox and Charli have instantaneous attraction to each other. One week of no information exchanged, no last names, no plans for a future. Only the here and now.

Well once again I can tell this series is going to mess with not only my heart but also my mind just like her other books.
