"Counseling in Schools: Essential Services and Comprehensive Programs" by J.J Schmidt

Today's students are challenged with many concerns which impacts their well-being. Child abuse, family dysfunction, economic status, violence, sexual harassment, sexual acts, etc. which (ultimately) influences our students lives. Our students are the future which fosters social and emotion concern which should be one of our highest priorities. I choose this book because it strongly related to the population I work with at my internship site.
