A long time ago, Equestria was a land, ruled by 4 Princesses, Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight Sparkle. Celestia ruled the day, as well as the sun. Luna ruled the night and the moon. Cadence was the princess of love, and the crystal empire. Twilight Sparkle, the youngest of the four, was the princess of friendship and its magic. The four of them provided peace, harmony, and above all, safety to all their citizens. However, that was long ago, back before The Great Resurgence.
