2. If someone has already answered a question, it is not enough to agree or disagree. Students must in some way provide more textual support or broaden the discussion in some way.
3. You don't have to agree; just be respectful of each other's opinions.
4. Responses should be detailed and specific, but no word count or specific length are required.
5. Responses should reflect engagement with the text
6. Do not wait until the last minute to respond.
7. Responses do not have to be limited to the content of the discussion questions.
8. Pose questions; in fact, it is encouraged. However, be prepared to engage in a conversation on a specific topic or as a means of demonstrating understanding and willingness to grapple with the specific subject matter and engage with your colleagues on it.
