97237 I don't think Sophia coming out of the barn can ever be beaten!
Who do you like the most? I dread my favourite characters being killed off! Andrea was great so that was a shock for me...i don't think there's many originals left? I think just Rick, Carl, Daryl, Carol, Glenn. Shane was a shock in Season 2 because he was such a central part of everything.

a friend of mine just told me of the webisodes ... so i have something to fill my obsession till i get to see season 4!

Could it get any better?? Love it! :)

97237 well if you name it we will read it ...or i will at least since nodody else seems to be around lol We could buddy up? :)

I have read 'Catch 22' - although a long time ago! and i think i read 'A Christmas Carol' once - or at least tried too!

I await your challenge! :)

97237 Any suggestions for a classic lit read?
I loved Wuthering Heights once i got deep into it...fantastic, horrible characters...Heathcliff and Kathy both deserving of each other as both of them despicable!

How about some Jane Austin?

I would like to read The French Lieutenant's Woman but then found out it was written in the 1960's...so my question...does this still count as classic lit?

97237 haha - I'm over in England so it's 9.30 in the morning here..not so early :) Wednesday is my day off work so i get to catch up on stuff around the house while all the kids are at school.

I don't mind a good scare in a book - i like a good ghost story :)

I heard this was suppose to be pretty good so i'm going to give it a go The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell and also The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes
Oct 09, 2013 01:19AM

97237 I'm gonna add The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey

i finished this last week but it has stayed with me lingering in the back of my mind! Brilliant! I think i will just read it all again this week lol

97237 My second choice is The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes
Really looking forward to reading this one so hope someone will join me!! :)
Book Blurb:

The jaw-dropping, page-turning, critically-acclaimed book of the year: a serial-killer thriller unlike any other from the award-winning Lauren Beukes. ‘GONE GIRL has not exactly gone. But THE SHINING GIRLS have arrived’ (The Times).

“It’s not my fault. It’s yours. You shouldn’t shine. You shouldn’t make me do this.”

THE GIRL WHO WOULDN’T DIE

Kirby is lucky she survived the attack. She is sure there were other victims were less fortunate, but the evidence she finds is … impossible.

HUNTING A KILLER WHO SHOULDN’T EXIST

Harper stalks his shining girls through the years – and cuts the spark out of them. But what if the one that got away came
back for him?

97237 I would love some suggestions of books anyone would like us to read?
All books suggested will be read...no polling or nominating!
I would like to suggest for this month Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn as it's the only Gillian Flynn book i have still to read.
Hopefully someone will suggest another read...maybe something spooky for Halloween?
