I just rewatched it, and maybe the twist will still be there, but the trailer seems to give too much away. Apparently it's taken decades for a script to be approved by Orson Scott Card, so maybe it will be good. Hmm...

For those of you that have read it, doesn't it seem like they totally missed the point of the book? The big twist at the end (that I didn't see coming when I read it many years ago) is completely ruined, unless I'm misinterpreting the trailer.

It seems to me that they're just cashing in on this movie as some kind of "Hunger Games in space" gimmick, instead of keeping the true essence of the book.

I guess we'll see. What do you think?
