I don't know pirates at all, haven't seen pirate movies or read pirate books... So, um, what is pieces of eight?
Mandy*reads obsessively* wrote: "I like your mind, it has brought me lots and lots of fun and entertainment. :)"I have to agree with that statement. Though it also brings me weird glares when I'm in public, staring into space and just giggling at the adventures going on inside my head.

Thanks. The plant pov seems to be winning so last night after I wrote my sex scene for Dirty Pirate I wrote a murder scene from the pov of a plant. Yes from pirate sex to a narcissistic houseplant, my mind is a nonstop freak show.

I finished my first draft last night. I'll try to slip in any pirate speak I can during edits.

I remember I said something about a stiff plank. Pretty sure I got all the cliche pirate phrases. Maybe I missed a couple.

I'm really bad at pirate, i used the word booty a couple times and think I used the phrase "prepare to be boarded" sexually.

I wrote a really bad one, like over the top, should only be read in a spoof-like-voice-over type voice. I don't think it would give the best impression to share it though.

The parrot is named Crispy Salsa, and the shower curtain is exorcismed (thats totally a real word) in appropriate dramatic fashion.
That might not be fully true, but don't want to give too many spoilers.

My first novel. I'm going to be gushing with pride and probably be on everyone's nerves by the time it's actually released.

I'm a cheeky bastard. And this has more of a darker sense of humor too it. It's a murder mystery romance that's been one long laugh for me. (Okay Gina killed off one of the characters I really liked and I almost cried, but then I made a joke about it and wasn't sad anymore).
We have three chapters left and we're done. I'm so excited for this one to be released.

I suck at pirate speak so my character does too, but I think it's, uh, charming?
I ended up writing my first epilogue just to prolong writing the sex. But it gives more of a HEA feeling with it I think.

:)

Good, I need to finish it and come up with a cover.

It's more silly then anything. And at the dirty part now but not sure what I want to do with it. I've wrote everything but the sex.

Some pirate pride

Thursday, September 19 is
International Talk Like a Pirate Day 2013 and its my goal to have this released before then.
This story started based on a discussion of Kim Alan's
review of
Dirty Cop

My personal working tag line for this story:
In real life Murder is never this funny, please don't try this at home.

This is the story I'm working on with
Gina A. Rogers.
I just posted a poll on my blog where readers can vote to help us decide on what phrase to use as our next chapter heading.
They are really weird and a couple may seem spoilery, but they really aren't.
Here's the link

Thank you. :)

Yeah lol, I guess it could always have been an even worse fitting cover.
