We get all the bonus points for that, so yay team!
Now, we just need to read a bunch of books..."Started reading
The Hunting Party tonight- this can work for yellow 3 as a wild card 4 I think. However I wasn't sure if 2 wild draw 4s could be used both for yellow 3? A wild card 4 for this particular colour card has been used in another hand :)

You have found the Gizmo of 80s music!
You have earned full points (45 + 30) for the artists/songs guessing game.
"Yaaayy well done to Team Gremlins!

I found a weird English band, who did Neopagan music, that may fit tasks 1-3 but I think they may be too obscure/not known well enough globally to be them?

ah thanks for clarifying Jenny!
Jenny wrote: "Thanks Rachael. Any guesses on the ones I haven't figured out yet?
Anyone?
Are you guys frantically looking through your piles of books for a leather jacket, or a bird, for a guitar on the cover..."I feel like I need a mug that says "Read like a fiend" :D

I've got an 80s music playlist blasting through the house to try to help! I agree that the guesses so far make sense :)
Can 1 book be used for multiple tasks in the mini challenge? For example, I'm currently reading Crow garden at the moment, the MC is a Doctor and there is a bird on the front cover (26)

There are 15 sets of the trio-tasks so I guess we need to decide which trio sets we want to focus on first? The ones we maybe have some books in mind or guesses of the musicians come to mind looking at the clues?

Happy Friday too :)
congrats on your first vaccine, it is reassuring to see more and more people receiving it.
Just finished the Delirium series, really enjoyed on the whole but felt some of the character development and where it could have gone was a little off.

Good luck Phez! we are all rooting for you!

that would be fun if a few of us read 'Who fears Death' - also means I can buy a copy and tell my partner it is for the good of the group challenge rather than another book for my collection tee hee
Jenny wrote: "I just asked in the captains group to make sure, and yes, a book can be used for the mini that is not on the main hand.
It sounds like all of you will be finishing your books, but just to take off..."Thank you for confirming, just finished and added to spreadsheet for the mini challenge :) Omg the ending!!

Will be adding screaming staircase by Jonathan Stroud to my ever growing want to read list- loved the Bartimaeus series.
I thought I would be carrying over pandemonium to March but am really enjoying and may finish tonight :) think we can use this in the mini challenge
This would work for 0 Blue or one of the many Wild Draw 4s I think?
Ilsen wrote: "@Dawn It can be for any color card for that month! We just can’t use the same color card duplicated. Like if someone already use 7 Blue as a Wild Draw 4, we can’t do it again"Thank you! Rummaging for brightly coloured covers now :)

So Wild draw 4 cards... this can be for any colour cards that month? Not just in that hand?
Feb Update: Completed The Death or Mrs Westaway- spreadsheet updated!

I am also the Delirium series at the moment, looking forward to your thoughts! Some reverse cards that can be used :)

checking in :) on track to finish the Death of Mrs Westaway ! May be able to squeeze another one in

I have just noticed how many extra books there are at the bottom of the spreadsheet! Just in case I do run out of time and don't get a chance to complete Pandemonium as planned, I have removed this from the spreadsheet as there are other already read books that can take it's place :)

Regarding spreadsheet from March, happy to go with the group agreement :) Sorry have not been messaging, crazy busy at work this week! Finding it super hard to turn off working from home.

Figured it wasn't working out when I managed to slip Hagrid into an email listening to Harry Potter
