88432 Unfortunately I'm reading Stillhouse Lake and it will only contribute towards the mini challenge, not the remaining cards

88432 Completed Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine- excellent book!
Ink and Bone
Can be used for a number of card numbers and is one of Milky Way's recommendations for Part 1 of the mini challenge.

I've commented on their team with this post: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Not sure if this link will work or not?

88432 Hi all,

Dawn from Team Pyxis here :)

I've finished Ink and Bone (the Great Library) by Rachel Caine. Simply put, could not put it down. The created world is engrossing, thought-provoking (who knew libraries could be so evil) and fascinating. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series, many thanks for recommending this!

88432 I'll head to the library this weekend for the Rachel Caine books :)

Bit annoyed I started 2 books before this mini challenge started! Neither will count now towards it :(

88432 Hi Melaniejoy,

Thank you for posting the lists, that's made it so much easier!

I vote team Milky Way :) Biased as I have my eye on both of the Rachel Caine books hehe

88432 I like the look of the lists on Team Musca, Team Mensa, Team Milky Way but happy with any decision :)

Ashleigh, I think a little planning with the books will help a lot. Are you happy for us to add our books to the spreadsheet with which team it belongs to?

88432 Do we all have to complete the first part of the mini challenge, before being able to log books for the second part?

88432 Definitely enjoying it, great motivation to read more. I've just finished "The book of Lost and Found", which can be used for more cards than I had previously thought.

Does a reverse card have to be for a book used in the same hand?

88432 Added to the book recommendations thread :)

When I'm on my computer, will be scouring the thread to add to my growing 'Want to read' list. Happy reading everyone!

88432 Dawn from Team Pyxis here

Love the "Age of the Five" series by Trudi Canavan - can read these over and over again.

Anything by Terry Pratchett - The classic "Colour of Magic", just because I can't pick!

Finally one of the books, that made me fall in love with reading. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen :)

88432 Hi MelanieJoy,

I recommend it :) The same character being two ages at once in one place definitely threw me. Might watch the film this weekend :)

88432 Hi everyone!
Feel like the slowest reader on the team but I have finally finished The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger . Cried like a baby haha. I've updated my read date on the spreadsheet but that is it.

This book can fit card numbers 3, 5 and 9 :) Hopefully this can help towards a hand!

88432 Finished my first book for this challenge last night and I've added it to the spreadsheet. Are we putting in a temporary card number for which hand now, just to get a feel for what is left?

88432 Happy with either option Ashleigh!

Just kicked my partner out of the room so I can settle down with the first book of this challenge!

88432 Hello again ! Can one book be used for more than one card? Apologies, if this is a silly question!
