Sally, UNO finishes for us 8 pm on May 1 because of the time difference.

88432 Started my last book... sob... and will have it finished by Monday morning, Sydney Time.

Can't believe UNO is over for another year. Ready to start hoarding colour covers for next year!

Current read doesn’t fit any of them - but get a new challenge book tomorrow so maybe that one will fit."

There is still all of Part 2 if it doesn't fit Part 1, Sally. I think it's mainly matching colour covers or being imaginative and making it fit!

That's a go, Sally (IMHO)

88432 Karen is Mexico counted as in South America for the mini challenge?

Edited to say - Not to worry, I found one at the library set in Ecuador .

88432 Hope you gals and your family are feeling better soon.

I don't want to jinx anything but I haven't had covid yet.. well that I know of. I went with my sister to a family funeral in January and she tested positive 24 hours later after me sitting for 6 hours in a car with her sharing the driving. I thought.. this will be it. But nothing. Just hoping that this continues and I don't come down with a super dose. (I have had 5 vaccinations so they must be doing the job and I don't have any reactions to the vaccinations either. )

I really enjoyed it and thought they did a great job with only a few tweaks from the book.

Happy Easter all!

Me Karen.. I enjoyed it.. and it does give a satisfying closure for Aaron. But The Dry is still the best of her novels. (IMHO)

Have you watched Daisy Jones and the Six yet? I finished it last week. There were a few tweaks from the book (One I thought was unnecessary) but overall I really enjoyed it. Thought the two leads really captured the book characters.
