I also finished Red Velvet Cupcake Murder on 1/26 which fits cozy mystery category if Terri doesn't finish hers.

and then I'm starting on #1 Player next (#2 in series)

We have the green light for your yellow book from the captains group - Yay!"
Woot!!
That means I don't have to read a yellow this time??? YAY! I think I'll keep in them the pot just in case we need them for other rounds.

I usually just read a book and fill in where it fits as I go along. The only reason I'm looking for colors is because the yellow was such a struggle last year, but it looks like this year it's taken care of!

TinEye is the bane of my existence!!

Did you TinEye it, Lisa? Sometimes things that look yellow don't come up that way on the color extractor.

Lisa, I'm not that organized except I know from playing last year how hard the colors can be so I am specifically looking for those. Everything else, I just do as I go along.

better than telling me it is completely crap ;)"
LMAO! Actually that series was a bit of a guilty pleasure for me a while back. I mean it's not going to win any awards or anything but I enjoyed it for what it was.

which works for yellow 1
so I'll put that on my list for Feb to read first"
That one is actually not too bad. Let me see what I can find for yellow.

I'm going to snag a few spaces and try to get some options for colors now. The rest I like to just read and then fill in as I go.

For example: the book Pipe Dreams
could go for:
1 (character O'Doul)
3 (third in series)
6 (author Sarina)
8 (character Elsa)
9 (setting New York)
Skip (title P)
Reverse (read by Sassafrass)
so you want to give all the options possible for each book (when you track) so that the captains can use the book in the way most advantageous to us.
Now some of that stuff you won't know until actually reading (like some of the secondary characters) but I was trying to give you a good example and I used that for Uno last year so I know what I used it for. LOL

However, you may want to see if you have books that fit the colored cards. Those can be difficult to fit sometimes. I'm actually going to look at those now. I just remember having to read this awful yellow book last year. I still shudder remembering it. LOL

Since we can't start until 2/1, I'm not sure. I usually just filled it either during the time I'm reading so I don't forget names and such or right after I was done.

I'm Sass and I live right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the US.
This is my second time playing UNO and I'm looking forward to it. During the week I'm pretty busy with being a part time Healthcare provider and full time mom (boy 13 and girl 11) and wife (just celebrated 17 years of marriage on 12/23) so I usually get my reading done at the end of the week.
I'm not always able to be chatty but I am always checking in. I'm a die hard romance girl but I read anything. I usually just find a book that will have some romance in it, LOL.
And I'm jealous of you Aussies and your heat. We are just getting over a snowstorm and it's frigid here. Apoorv is lucky because he's in India and missed all the fun. But right now it's 7F (-14C) here. I would so rather be in a heatwave right about now!!!
