I've never tried Virgin River. I was afraid of it being too syrupy. A lot of my GR friends have enjoyed them though. I may try to get one on overdrive from the library.

And I honestly don't think that the Gordons (Ilona Andrews) can write anything bad. I really have enjoyed everything I've read from them.
