88432 I'll finish that last book on the mini challenge. Will be starting it tomorrow.

88432 I'll take a close look at what's left for the mini challenge later today. Are we still missing anything important with our regular cards?
Feb 26, 2019 03:53AM

88432 We are finished for February, correct? I don't need to add books I'm finishing now to the sheet?

88432 Our fearless leaders -- I put my next book in the spreadsheet. It's Until Tuesday: A Wounded Warrior and the Golden Retriever Who Saved Him. Tuesday is the service dog about which the book is written. I put him in the T column as a character, but I'm not sure what the rule is about animals being "characters", so not sure that actually works.

88432 I haven't been very flexible -- or helpful with my books this month as I'm finishing up a fairly strict challenge in another group. That will end this month, so I should be a little more free to read for specific cards the rest of the game. We seem to be doing okay without me though! :)

88432 Ahh! It was only 1 book, I'll get it back up in a bit. :)

88432 Sorry Kaylee, I was putting everything that I was reading even if I hadn't finished on the spreadsheet. I deleted the 2 that I haven't finished, and I'll just put them there as I finish from now on.

88432 Hi everyone. I've started Dark in Death on audio this am. Finishing up one more from last month on kindle and then I'm going to start Wicked Ride.

88432 I should get through 10-12 books next month.

Trinia, I started speeding audible up to 1.5 to 2 a few months ago, and now I can't stand to listen to it on regular speed. Its so sloooooowww! ;)

Oh. Well that's a bother. Sorry, that's all I've got. :(

88432 Diane -- and whoever else needs it -- here's how I use tineye from windows.

Hover over the cover. It will give you an option to enlarge the cover. Right click on the enlarged cover and a menu will come up with options. Click on "copy image address". Then go to tineye, click on the main bar next to Choose File, Right click and hit paste. It should put the address in the search bar and then just hit "extract colors".

88432 Diane, there is a way to copy and paste the cover, but I'm at work and only on my phone and I dont want to tell you wrong. Once I get home on my laptop, I'll post directions.

88432 Hi everyone! I'm Stacey and I live in North Carolina with my very spoiled mastiff -- but he puts up with my reading so we get along well. I have played UNO before, but skipped last year, so may take a few hands to get back in the swing. I have recently decided that High Fantasy and I do NOT get along, but I will happily read just about anything else. I do lean towards PNR, UF, romance and mystery/thriller unless I need something for a challenge.

Looking forward to getting started!

88432 Howdy everyone! Sorry I've been absent. I have finished Midnight Alias for my suspense book and will finish Daughter of Smoke & Bone by the end of the day, I promise.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll get my designer book done. Today is my parents 50th Wedding anniversary party, and the last few days have had a bit more prep, shopping, prep, family and prep that I was anticipating. If something changes and I can sneak it in before I fall asleep tonight, I'll update.

88432 I found a shortish cozy mystery with a designer -- and cheap on kindle :) --so I'll take that one. I have a France book too, but its longer so let me make sure I can get that one done before I sign up for it.

Thanks everyone for making this such a fun un-stressful challenge. I have enjoyed playing and contributing while not feeling like I HAD to get a certain book done. :)

88432 I maaay be able to squeeze one more book in, but I hate to take a spot until I know for sure in case someone else has something. I'll keep checking on the sheet.

88432 Howdy. I moved my book Sheltered to one of its other slots. The page numbers for the edition I read is listed wrong on GoodReads, and I don't want there to be an issue. Plus there wasn't any other book listed in that egg, and I think where I moved it we can get filled. Let me know if I messed up. :)

From my phone it looks like a grey one is filled in."

Yeah, it is. I saw that when I rechecked. Oh well, maybe it will fit something else.

88432 Question for our fearless leaders. It looks like I'm going to be reading Cloak and Dagger (The IMA, #1) by Nenia Campbell this week. When I look at the book, I say white cover. When Tineye looks at it, it says grey color. Since we have both slots in the eggs, which place should I put it?
