I was going with Ellis Peters or Priscilla Royal - they both have some kindle unlimited free titles, and are quick abd not too painful (two bad cosy Mysteries is my limit for the week!)

I've also got a book that could work for "works in a place of Worship" - mystery with head nun at a monastery, which can double up for the 5th - 15th C setting if needed

full disclosure: I'm not going to look for "char is vegetarian". just sayin'!

by the way, the unused books are all on the tracking sheet, rather than trawling through here (unless you prefer that!)

I'd like to know how we are using the two bunny eggs, cos that could open up an egg....

The eggs I don't really like are Hercule (stupid cover colour); Rose Hathaway (how do you know they are vegetarian until you've read the damn book! not plannable!) Bones (zoo trip - unguessable for before reading) and Kate Daniels.

and don't forget Camilla's Passage to India book in all the bunny fun!

and I realised that if the mods don't like my bunnies (they wouldn't be so mean!) we can use it for the Easter in title if we prefer. So many options!

Expect it to be done in the next 90 mins (commute home)

and a bit of weighing up whether we've any chance of completing the other egg tasks, if we start another. I mean, we'll obviously need to start more eggs (20ish books to finish the main hands still), but we might want to focus on the achievable eggs.

for example: if the battery-bunnies are Ok, do we want to use them and your book as bunnies (Hercule & Ron eggs) or use your bunny in a pan for Billie egg.

Task are (we'd finish Ron either way)
Hercule:
Read a book with a rabbit on the cover
Read a book with a white cover
Read a book with an orange cover
Read a book with a bird on the cover

Billie:
Read a book with pots or pans on the cover
Read a book where a character is a cook or a chef
Read a book where the characters go to a cafe or restaurant


I don't know if, as a team we have a preference.... I think Billie's probably easier, what with all those culinary cosies out there

I'm trying to work out what books might have a parade in them...

I could read - which has rabbits (!!) on the cover (even less what the task intent was that Camilla's boiling bunny!) or Easter in the title, for the mini (unsure what letters, outside of M / C / N / S there are)
or something more rewarding....

I've started a new book, which I'm not sure if it'll work for "obsessed with holiday" - Aunt Mildred apparently declares "no good could come of the Melbury family Christmas gathering" and there are two people dressed as Santa. I'll carry on reading though

There are a lot of names - including a Oliver (yay! we need ones!), and I guess if it doesn't work for the "obsessed" egg task we can use it for hat on cover (you can just make out Santa's red hat) or spell-out of LUCK - there's a Carol character too.
