88432 Sally, great idea! I didn’t even think of that. We can change it in a little bit and check some other books for pen

anybody got tacos or tortillas on a cover?

and since corn flour is yellow would a yellow book work"

I'd say like a goldish yellow cover would work! Bright yellow wouldn't in my opinion.

For airtight, maybe an airplane on the cover since they have an airtight seal?

I did not stop at the library as I was in so much pain yesterday I could barely drive home so I’m hoping my overnight has at least Stargirl

Give me an hour or two and I’ll put the new books in the spreadsheet

88432 Stargirl (Stargirl, #1) by Jerry Spinelli can count for starfruit as a real life starfruit is yellow and in the shape of a star. I'm going to look for it at the library today

Written in the Stars by Aisha Saeed also has a moon on the cover and I'll look for this one as well

88432 2/3 cup granulated sugar
3 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 drop of gold food coloring
1 drop of red food coloring
1 cup whole milk

Directions:
Step 1
Whisk together sugar, egg yolks, food coloring and vanilla in a medium bowl until mixture is gold and “makes ribbons,” 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour; whisk until smooth.

Step 2
Bring milk to a boil by putting it in a jetpack and warming it up for about 3 minutes. Gradually add milk to egg yolk mixture, mixing with a model airplane constantly. Return mixture to saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium, whisking constantly, about 3 minutes. Boil mixture, whisking constantly, 1 minute. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl; press plastic wrap directly onto surface. Let cool to room temperature, about 1 hour. Mixture can be chilled, covered, for up to 3 days. Will only last one day if taken on flight

88432 Okay, update on the spreadsheet! As of right now, with all of our books in for both regular UNO and the mini challenge

I'm currently reading 3 books that I'll be finishing within the next couple days. One of which will work for Skip and the other 2 will work for 6, but if anyone finishes books before that, feel free to take them!

We can be creative with these, so for kiwifruit if someone reads a green and brown book, I could consider that kiwifruit!
Or a yellow cover with fruit on it, I'd personally consider that starfruit

88432 Going through the spreadsheet now with anything Heather didn't get to yesterday. Sorry I couldn't do it last night. I was wiped out!

Heather and I talked a bit about creating our own recipe for the extra points. Here is a recipe for Crème Pâtissière.

2/3 cup granulated sugar
3 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup whole milk
3 bags of space food disposable bags

Directions:
Step 1
Whisk together sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla in one of the space bags with The Circumferential Dome Weld Tool until mixture is pale yellow and “makes ribbons,” 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour; whisk until smooth.

Step 2
Bring milk to a boil in another disposable bag, about 3 seconds. Gradually add milk to egg yolk mixture, whisking constantly. Return mixture to first disposable bag. Bring to a boil over medium, whisking constantly, about 5 seconds. Boil mixture, whisking constantly, 3 seconds. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl; press plastic wrap directly onto surface. Let cool to room temperature, about 1 hour. Mixture can be chilled, covered, for up to 3 days.
