Donna (or anyone), whenever you have a book that works for a pair, feel free to remove my book. I have to return copies to the library so I am just filling them out as I go when a book works. I don't need this many word pairs.

Sounds good to me, it would be good to get this done before the end of the year
Thank you, Teddie

I have just been claiming words as they come up. Please feel free to bump me from a spot if you want it.

Also, does anyone know what "Book by an author with at least 2 Christian names" means? It is a double first name like Mary Ann or anyone with two names on GRs even if one may be a middle name?

If anyone is reading Murder in Mesopotamia for TT's for Iraq, it was published in 1936. My team has already read Iraq twice or I'd volunteer.

TTs has made it harder on my part as well but also has increased my short story reading which has been oddly helpful.

Teddie, just wanted to check in since it has been a month. I have a book with an editor if you want to move
The Silmarillion to after death and then we can be done with this round.

I finished a collection of short stories so Teddie, whenever you are done, we can move on to the next group

If anyone has a collection of short stories finished since May 10, we now have an open task. Otherwise, it is up for anyone to grab.

Sorry, Michelle, take care of yourself first, and I hope doctors figure out what happens soon.

I have a Beowulf in title book so Teddie or Donna feel free to claim one of my other tasks and I’ll switch as that seems harder.

I'm sorry, Donna. You just can't get a break.
I'll start my book this weekend so I should be done by Monday.

As we get to the end of the round, can everyone please comment when you have read your last book for the round? Thank you
Final Saturday Update Somehow we are already almost done with UNO. Great job on getting most of the mini challenge tasks claimed. We have two fairly easy ones left:
"Fuel Tank
Read a book that energises you or refuels your reading mojo!"
"The Captain
Read a book with a strong leader, mentor, or decision-maker."
However, we still need
21 books including the 11 already on the spreadsheet. It would be great if people could add what they plan on finishing by the end of the month to the spreadsheet so we know what we are missing. Please also remove any you don't think you will get to. Thank you

I'm still waiting on my New Zealand book from the library. I have been first in line for almost a month, which seems impossible on a two week ebook check out period.

Thank you, we are doing well with the letters. We really could use aiming at some of the mini tasks. Harder ones include:
1. "Artificial Intelligence
Read a book with a robot, AI, or a highly intelligent system/character."
2. "The Cook
Read a book that features food, cooking, or a chef character."
3. "Meet Fellow Travellers
Read a book where strangers are thrown together on a journey (e.g. road trip, cruise, expedition)."
4. "Zero Gravity Moment
Read a book that makes you feel weightless – dreamy, poetic, or mind-bending."
5. "A Final Mission
Read a book that’s the last in a series or features a character’s final journey."

I don’t think that book would work. Sorry.
