(I'm going to create a new one for 'the city'. Nothing can really happen in Colbie because it's such a small town x)
(Well Blue is stealing a necklace worth millions for the Arabian Maffia this time. So maybe Kara's having dinner in the city near the hotel where the necklace is being kept. Maybe she ends up seeing/hearing something/walking into something she wasn't meant to and thats when Blue might have to take her away with him to protect her from them. Just a thought.)

Blue takes the hint, he stays close for a few more moments, because watching a girl so put together as Kara squirm is both some how attractive and hilarious. Eventually he does move away from her. But his gaze never leaves Kara's for a moment. Then his phone buzzes, one of his work phones, a throwaway that can't be tracked. Blue cannot stay here much longer, a few days is bad enough. He won't ever be coming back, Blue never goes anywhere too specific twice, it's dangerous for him and the people around him. He takes out his phone,Tonight. Get the job done or you're dead
Blue just rolls his eyes, not because they wouldn't kill him, but because they think they could get close enough to even try.
It'll get done soon enough. There's no one in this world who can do this job better than me, and you know it he texts back. And they do know it. Pissing off the Arabian Maffia isn't smart, but Blue doesn't get ordered to do anything.
Blue looks back up at Kara, and blinks away the predatory, and possibly lethal, glint in his eyes that was there moments before when thinking about work. His voice is calm, deep, and casual though when he says,
"One more thing you might want to know about me Kara Bones, I can feel you, and trouble's coming your way. Time to decide if trust the fire not to burn". He nods once more and walks backwards, keeping his eyes locked on hers for a few more moments before turning around.
Blue tilts his head to the side, black hair cut short in the back and long on top falls over his forehead, a few midnight strands covering his pale eyes. Blue's face becomes suddenly quite serious as he replies,"I know you want to know. There are two types of people in this world who have two different reactions to me. Either, they stay as far away as possible, questionably the cleverer choice, or they find themselves interested because sometimes the word forbidden doesn't need to be said out loud, sometimes it just is." he pauses for a moment, regarding Kara carefully,
"One truth about me Kara" his gaze burning into hers, "I'm a liar. Thats all you really need to know"
Blue's smirk turns into his first honest to god grin since...well, since he found out his dad was realy dying. Blue moves away from the wall and closer to Kara, he places a hand by the side of her head so he is semi-blocking her in against the wall. The intensity of his pale fire blue eyes goes up a notch,"Now, finally, we're getting somewhere. I'm not a hypocrite, i'm a selfish chaos loving heartless bastard, thank you very much. Did anyone ever tell you that when you get frustrated you make a face that is sexy as hell. You want to know one real truth about me?" drawls Blue, his eyes sparking with amusement and something else even he can't name.
"I know that was a lie. You're not easy to read Kara, i was just born with the ability to read people, wheather i want to or not. I've created a life out of lying" Orion replies, his words firm but non-judemental. Blue lies every single day, he has to, he wouldn't be able to complete his jobs if he didn't. The truth is always an insult or a joke, lies are generally the best way to go. People love lies. The nature of lies is to please. Truth has no concern for anyone's comfort. We live in a world that is built on promises constructed liars. "You don't have to tell me the truth about anything. But i'm a stranger, so if you're going to tell the truth to anyone, might as well be someone you're never going to see again.....or Jesus, but i'm more accessible" Blue smirks, but his eyes are honest.
(s'ok)Orion senses her irritation once again,
"Interested in danger? Disasters? Chaos?" he asks, that small smile tugging at his lips again. Orion doesn't judge anyone, never has, never will. It just isn't in him to be that way after everything he's been through. People in Colbie hated him, and hate is not an exaggeration, they would ignore him at best, and at worse...well there are scares both physical and mental for that.
"I was the poster boy for chaos in this town once. Said i was bad luck, i'm not exactly popular...even now. The sooner i get out, the sooner people can relax and stop panic buying. But you, pretty, clever, kind...I suppose you already know what this town can be like when you're different"
Orion's small smile turns into a payful smirk then. Blue keeps his body language in complete control, no knows anything about him even through facial expressions if he doesn't want them to, but Kara is strangely amusing. Pretty, scarred, niave and slightly strange, the boys must be crawling all over her. Although knowing the type of girl Kara is, Blue reackons she doesn't even notice. Modest, believes in earning what you want. Another thing he can add to that list he's building. "Says the girl who's voluntarily staying in a hospital even though she has no one to visit. Careful pot, someone might notice your resembelence to the kettle" he replies, a touch of humour sparking in his big pale eyes.
Orion can tell Kara is still frustrated, and there is a part of him that is enjoying her distress. She seems the intelligent sort, and is probably used to things falling into place if she workshard enough. Not spoilt, but still niave in some ways. He likes that. The people Orion, or he shoud say Blue, is around are not niave, they are deadly. But then again so is Blue. He's a criminal, a theif, and he likes it. Orion isn't sure what that says about him, and doesn't really care. He thinks about her question, not caring if it is innapropriate or not,"I'm just your local town masochist, maybe" he answers, "Does there have to be a reason?"
(Coolio sista friend)Orion allows himself a slightly barely there smile and regards the girls again. Orion reads people well,he always has, it's sort of a sixth sense, although he hasn't told anyone about that since he was a child. When he was little he just about got away with being a freak, but as an adult, even a teen, he got so much crap for jut existing, adding anything else would have been self dstruction. Orion may like danger, he enjoys the thrill, he wouldn't be in his line of work if he didn't, but he doesn't have a death wish. Yet. He can tell the girl is getting frustrated, most people do around Orion.
"Blue" he answers, Orion hasn't told anyone his real name since....since never really. When he left Colbie when he was 16 he immediately went into merc work, and used the name Blue. As far as he's concerned Blue is who he is now, Orion is just an abandoned little boy from Colbie who felt alone most of his life.
Orion tilts his head slightly, dark hair falling over his forehead, he runs a hand through it distractedly. Orion has known his father was ill for a long time, he knew his dad's drinking would catch up to him eventually and kill him. Orion's dad's liver is failing and Orion isn't sure how to take that. Is it poetic justice? punishment for all the bad things his dad has done? Or maybe life just is that way. In Orion's experience it doesn't matter how good a person you are, bad things happen to everyone. Orion has done plenty of questionable things in his life, his line of work is dangerous. Orion likes to steal, and working for the Albianian Mafia right now means big trouble if he doesn't get his next job done. He'll get it done, no one is as good as him. He's the best and they all know it. This girl is so far away from all this shit though, she's beautiful and appears to be compassionate. Scarred even. Death of at least one family member. Orion knows pain, he knows what being alone truly means."What's your name?" he asks.
(Have updated my characters profile. I think it could add edge to our rp, give us a few more intense ideas. I thought maybe they could get close and then people go after her so he has to take her away to keep her safe. Read what i've changed and see what you think x)
Orion jerks away from the wall, surprised by the girls voice. He turns to lean his hip and shoulder against the wall and crosses his arms, his pose casual yet somehow dangerous. People know what kind of person Orion is just by looking at him. But that doesn't mean Orion wants them to, at least not all the time. Orion looks the girl over, his perceptive blue eyes taking her in. "No" he answers simply, because it is the truth, lying would be pointless.
"My dad is dying, and i don't care. I care that i don't care. Becuase my mind is just that fucked." he continues casually as if they were talking about the weather.
"You're not here to visit a patient" Orion says, it isn't really a question.
