Cas stares back at him, "No i don't have a secret boyfriend, i have lots of secrets though. It was just an example. But...." she says.

Ever shakes her head, "I believe it was the other way around. You were on MY beach. You were MOPING on MY BEACH. I refused to allow it to continue. Plus, there was just something about you, i have no idea what Drane, but....." she says. Ever runs a thumb over his cheek gently.

Silver sighs and says "Ori hasn't always been exactly a good honest living person. He's an amazing man, but he does have a past, a darker past than you can imagine, even before me"

Xander straightens and looks over at Kylie, he squeezes her hand tightly, not caring what her family thinks. But there is a small part of Xander that knows they're right, he isn't good enough for her, and he never will be. Xander isn't going to change who he is for anyone. Xander wants kylie more than anything else in his life, she's his and no one can take away last night, last night that was everything Xander thought he'd never have. Xander says, "You're right. I should leave, i should have left last night, i should have never of even been here, or in your daughters life at all. But i am here. I did stay, despite my better judgement, despite my conscious. Kylie is mine, she's all i want, all i have ever wanted. It's truly that simple"

Her dad clenches his jaw and says angrily "Out. Now." He has no right. "What in hell name have you gotten yourself into Kylie"

Cas can see he is confused so she wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him close, "Ok, for example lets say you meet a girl who's sexy and funny and someone you like to be with, BUT she has a secret boyfriend".

Ever grins and says "i know why i was mad. Why were you?"

Silver shakes her head, "What in the world is Ori thinking" she says under her breath.

Xander wants to tell Kylie not to bother, he can see the answer written all over her parents faces. Even if they do listen to her, there is no way in hell she stands a chance of getting them to accept someone like Xander into their good girl daughters life. Xander wouldn't either.

Her dad's fists clench angrily, he can tell his wife agrees, "This isn't up for debate young lady. I will not allow you to get invloved with someone like this, you are my little girl and i'm protecting you". Her dad will not have his daughter ruin her life with a man like this one.

Cas tilts her head, "You know, the 'but..', everyone bloke has a 'but...'. Something you won't like, but you have no 'but..' which is kind of exciting and frustrating at the same time" she says with a smirk.

Ever pretends to look offended and hits his arm playfully, "I wasn't, you were being so bloody frustrating and arrogant too. It drove me mad, but i still wanted to look after you. God knows why!" she says.

"Oh stop being childish. As long as you're just his friend then we have nothing to snipe about" she says stifly.

Ever smiles softly and touches his face lovingly, her blue eyes blaze with it, her mouth curves into a smirk, "You we're pissed at me?" she says.

Cas's hands rest on his chest and she looks up at him as she says, "I'm still waiting for the 'but...' part with you"

Xander avoids her mum's gaze, his face becoming impassive and unemotional as it always does in front of strangers. The down side is to other people this look apears more threatening and dangerous than nything else. He can see Kylie's mum taking in the piercings and tattoo's, not to mention the visible scars. Xander knows he isn't the type of young man that a girl like Kylie would take home to her parents. He never would be.

Kylie's dad come in behind her mum and says "What the hell is going on here Kylie, young lady?" his tone is crisp and harsh. How dare she bring such a person into their home.

"That's not what i meant genius. Christ if you're not pretty then you should at least be clever" Silver says in annoyance.

Cas squeals with full on laughter as he swings her around. "Yeah you did! Irish boy can RUN" she shouts still smiling madly.

"She's probably in the kitchen having breakfast. You alright Ky?" her dad calls out to her.

Xander panics for only a moment, he'd been in this situation way too many times before. But Kylie is different, he doesn't want another reason not to be with her. But before he can disentangle them her mum comes in.

Ever looks up at his seriously, "Drane, i was a different person once, both me and Damien were so unlike the people we are now. I was into all that danger thrill seeker shit, it was who i was. I was trouble, but when i had my son i had no choice to be become a more safe person" she says.

Silver rolls her eyes, "Why do you even care?" she says dismissively.
