Bea - I can't remember - do we have to wait to start this one until we finish FOUND (Lost #2)? Or can we go ahead and choose the books for this list since we're basing it off of authors and/or LOST finish date?
We'll see what I can get done here! Be back...FOUND (Lost 2020, #2)

Review:
I was reluctant to read this because I knew it was going to be angsty and full of heartache... and I just don't do those well. But I needed it for a challenge that was to be set in Australia. I'm glad I made myself read it. It was angsty and full of heartache, but the author didn't belabor it nor did she take it over the top. When I could sense the bad coming, I did get anxious but because the author did well up to that point, I trusted her and we got through it with minimal tears! This was a beautiful story of deeply felt emotion, self-sacrifice and a journey of self-love, or at least the beginning of that self-love and self-redemption. I have a feeling I'll be looking for more from this author.
Challenges: n/a
Nomination: military hero
Seems like P&P is on every list or genre shelf!!
Book: Pride and Prejudice ~ 10.01 ★★★★

Review:
What can I say? It's a classic for a reason as well as being an epic in that it epically represents its time and irony. It's hard to read, at least for me, but the story is excellent and I love how we get to see Elizabeth realize her own pride and prejudices for which she so convicted Darcy. The characters are perfect caricatures of themselves and of English society. You cringe even as you laugh at the absurdity they display! I'm sure that I will read it again a 3rd time.
