Tracey, this update made me laugh out loud at work! (That'll teach me to check these things when I might get caught.)
My last big read off the TBR mountain was The Web Between the Worlds (SF)...it had been hanging out for 20-30 years on the shelves. Glad to have gotten that one shifted.

I'm afraid Bev doesn't manage very well....I miss A LOT of the conversations on here. I try to swing by as much as I can....but then I get distracted by a book Or worse yet a bookstore (like today) and buy more books to add to the mountain range.

Storing up for next year? Karen, my dear, I have enough books stacked up in mountain ranges to last for the next decade or so! And---I've now read five and 1/2 books from the TBR stacks and bought five more just today for a nice little total of 25 new books for the New Year. I've got a book-buying habit that just won't quit.

Tally so far: 3 from the TBR.

You've only bought 3 new books? That's all? I've read 3 from the TBR and added 20. I don't think that's the way it was supposed to work. :-)

Now...I've read three books from Mt. Everest, read three library books.....and added two more new books to the TBR mountain range (total 20 new books in 2013). Doing my best to help you all feel virtuous. :-)
