Cassandrah’s comments from the Popsugar Reading Challenge 2019 group.

This is for the week of March 31- April 6.

I felt like I read a lot last week, but I only finished 'A Court of Frost and Starlight' by Sarah J Maas, which I picked up Sunday and finished (super small novella). I started 'A City of Ashes' by Cassandra Clare, and I've also started 'Becoming' by Michelle Obama, which is a challenge book for me. Hopefully I can get more finished this week!

This is for the week of March 24-30.

I had the first good week in a while last week! I finished 'A Court of Mist and Fury' by Sarah J Maas and read 'A Court of Wings and Ruin' as well. I love that series! ACOMAF was my reread of a favorite book, and I also listened to/read 'City of Bones' by Cassandra Clare, which was for a book written by an author with the same first and last name first initials. Hoping for another good week this next week!

I've read City of Bones by Cassandra Clare for this, and I gotta say I highly recommend this book!

For this one I reread 'A Court of Mist and Fury' by Sarah J. Maas, which is actually the second in the series. I love the second one so much more because of the development of the main character, and because of the development we see of one of the secondary main characters.

This week was my spring break! I was hoping to read a lot more, but I was not feeling great and only managed to read 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' by Sarah J Maas, and start 'A Court of Mist and Fury'. ACOMAF is my book that is a re-read of a favorite! Finished it today, which will apply to next week's check in.

This week I finished 'The Hostile Hospital' by Lemony Snicket. Another slow week for me!

I've been doing okay this week. I've made progress on multiple books, but I did finish one for the PopSugar Challenge. I read 'Home Again' by Kallie George, for a book with a two word title. I'm hoping that next week will be a bit better, but the week after that is spring break so I should get quite a bit read hopefully!

I read 'Home Again' by Kallie George, it was the 4th book in the Heartwood Hotel series, which the first one is a Sunshine State Book this year. The series was really cute and a good fast read.

I'm currently reading '1984' by George Orwell for my book club. It's going okay so far, if you like dystopian. However, it is really dense.

For this one I read 'Hindsight and all the things I can't see in front of Me' by Justin Timberlake. I really enjoyed this book, and if you are a fan of his I highly recommend it!
Also, it may look huge but there's tons of pics and it's a pretty quick read.

This is for the week of February 24-March 2.

Last week was a little better for me! I finished 'Vox' by Christina Dalcher, which was amazing. I highly recommend this book. It's about what happens in America when women's voices are taken away, and soon most (if not all) of their rights.
I also finished 'Seven Ways We Lie' by Riley Redgate, which was also really good. It follows a high school scandal between a teacher and a student, and seven students who are each portraying one of the deadly seven sins. I also might use this for my author with the same initials for first and last name.

Well my goal of finishing 3-4 books last week did not happen. I did read 'Home Sweet Motel' which is a Sunshine State book. Otherwise I've made decent progress on a few others. I have already finished on this current week, so hopefully this week's entry will be better!
