Plenty of old and new to choose from.
You owe it to yourself to try one of the new magazines or dig up an old book.

This Jan-Feb groupread continues an annual tradition since at least 2014 (though many shared the topic of Anthologies with another).

Swords of Steel publisher has nice plans for next yr including new work by Keith Taylor who is making quite the resurgence recently

In short, I'm glad to have read the King of Elfland's Daughter being a self-proclaimed fantasy aficionado.... but it wasn't easy.
These groupreads continue to help me tackle must reads.
Would have preferred to have cut out the Orion story, and just kept focus on Alveric's dark, heroic tale.

Have this on my to read list, but am unfamiliar with the author/work much admittedly.
I do know Netflix and Amazon are securing TV/movie rights much faster than can produce. So as much as I'd like to see more S&S on the screen, I imagine that this is just part of the intellectual property war/strategy.

Flowery prose and run on sentences work better in short fiction; love the imagery, but I could used more adventure and less about pigeons communicating poorly to a troll.

I was thinking of “overlooked authors” or obscure ones. Clifford Ball?"
Yep, that'd ..."
I am hoping the Anthology read will drum up some more authors to track down.

I was thinking of “overlooked authors” or obscure ones. Clifford Ball?

Which one will you read (add books in the your-choice field)? Sword & Sorcery was born from anthologies/periodicals, and many new ones are available today.
Choose an oldie or new one, and broaden you knowledge of S&S authors (and some Weird Fiction authors too).

We are so excited to announce our collaboration with Marvel on some brand new Conan novellas! First one is “Black Starlight” by John C. Hocking. Sorcerers, monsters and ghost towns: John Hocking hits it all! Black Starlight takes place after the events of Conan and the Emerald Lotus, as Conan and his companions eagerly depart the desert wastes of Stygia. Conan must track down a horrific, inhuman mage lairing in a deserted Stygian village, not just to save his friends, but perhaps his very soul!

Episode notes:
-Logan was referring to an earlier season of Cromcast. Sorry for the misinformation.
-Matt mentioned talking to Howard Andrew Jones at Halcon, when in fact it was GenCon.

I did not expect to see Conan with spider man, captain america, etc.
Any Marvel fans.here know the strategy and scope of the crossover(s)?
