Even though they danced for a while, Anna felt like it was mere minutes. But amazing minutes. It was all passed with mostly laughing, and she loved that, even though her cheeks felt a little sore. Though she would take that soreness any day if she could have another moment like this. It was too bad that it had to end today, because sadly, she was still convinced on the idea of not seeming him after this, he allowed herself to eventually stay here longer with him.
After having enough of dancing- well she could never have enough of dancing with him actually- they finally came to a stop. Just like before when they were waking, they simply talked. No minute with him had been too awkward to handle. They even went in to retrieve themselves some drinks, but of course Anna couldn’t help herself and snagged her some dessert while she was at it. The pain au chocolat, and the mini brownies looked too good to pass on.
With a few minutes until midnight, Anna and Jax found themselves a long table to stand next to. Anna has her desserts laid out before her with a glass of champagne, knowing her parents wouldn’t mind because it was an event. “No thank you,” she waves him off with her hand before taking a bite of the brownie, obviously enjoying it. One thing was for sure, and it was Anna’s love for chocolate. “You have to try this brownie. It’s so good.” She tells him and moves her plate forward to him so he could grab one of the many sweets she had. “It’s enough to make you want to sell your soul to the devil for more,” she covered her mouth as she laughed at that.

Ian titled his head a little, his eyes on her. Mentally, he was examining her. She was smart, he had to give her that, and it made the whole thing more interesting. Of course, he knew she was alone because he could smell it off of her. Had she been with someone, she would smell another scent on her from being next to someone. But he couldn’t tell her that, so he simply said, “I’ve been watching you.”

Hey everyone!
Originally, the ball was scheduled to end February 1st. However, due to school starting and other life situations, activity became a problem and many were not able to Rp. Therefore, the members shall still be allowed to Rp in the ball folder until February 28. But this time, any other RP threads could be used to Rp in even while the ball is still going on, unlike previously. That way people could continue on with there old Rps and start new ones, while those that didn’t have the chance to use the ball to their advantage like they originally planned still have the chance to do so. Have fun guys! I hope everyone is doing well.

Jax continued to move Anna closer, using the excuse to keep her warm since she didn’t have his jack on her anymore. She thought it was very sweet of him, but she couldn’t help but think if he really just wanted her closer. She wouldn’t mind if it was that too. Was that wrong to say? It was one thing to get close to water, but what about Jax? Would that be a risk? Of course it would be, she reminded herself.
She pushed away those thoughts, not wanting to spoile the moment. It was weird how some people acted when they wanted to forget about stuff they didn’t like. Some people slept it off, while others turned to drugs. Some even binged on food. But Anna was simply having fun, and doing the one thing she was worrying about, which was interacting with someone.
“Très bien,” Anna tells him when he finally gets relaxed. Her eyebrows shot up when he brought up a spin, especially with her spinning him, but she actually likes that idea. “Let’s do it!” She laughed as she stepped back. Her right hand moved from his neck, running down his shoulder and his arm until she found his hand. “Just bend down a little. You're too tall for me.” Anna giggled as she removed her other hand from him and moved on her tiptoes- despite already having heels- and raising her arm all the way up. She found the whole thing amusing, and it made her all giddy.
(Should we time skip to the end of the night?)

Troy leaned against the stone railing, waiting to see how this guy before him, whose name he did not know but could easily find out with a spell, would react to his insults. He actually expected him to give up and leave with his tail between his legs. Yet here he was, moving even closer and still trying to get at him, even moving to touch his chest. He had to admit, this young man intrigued him. “Is that so,” he simply said as he held his gaze. He could see list swimming in his. Feeling a bit daring, he leaned forward to brush his plump lips against his in a teasing matter. “Let’s say you are right, and that I am interested in guys, and that maybe I may need to let loose.” He eventually moved to whisper in his ear. “How do you plan on treating me for the rest of the night?”

@dreamchild
What the- damn it. This is none of my business. Christopher realized he was pushing it with being all overprotective. He didn’t know why the urge to help was so strong, but he needed it to stop. He was driving away this girl that he actually didn’t mind hanging with. Mentally smacking himself in the head, Christopher stepped back to give her space. “Never mind. Ignore what I said. I don’t care what you do.” When he said that, he didn’t even mean it in a rude way. He genuinely wanted her not to care about what he said, because well... he didn’t care about what he said. “I’ll be in one of the balconies if you need me.” With that, he turned away and walked away, lost within himself as he tried to figure out what the hell happened.

Amir was distracted by the burn on his hand that he didn’t have a moment to acknowledge the shift in Matteo. Before he knew it, he found himself pinned up against the door roughly, causing the door itself to shake against the hinges. Even so, pain shot through his body that the burn itself became nonexistent compared to it. He groaned, everything having to go so fast for him to properly acknowledge anything. But one thing was for sure, this strength was not ordinary. Still, Amir wasn’t couldn’t to stay quite. That would just be too weak of him. “You want me to trust a dumb ass like you that belittles himself, and for what?” Before he could go on, he was tossed to the floor, sliding up against shelves. “Ooff,” Amir breathed. He looked up to the guy, who was all ruffled up with his open shirt and panting chest, seething from anger. Yeah, he was in pain and probably going to get the shit beaten out of him at this rate, but he kept going. “Maybe I do, and what’s it to you? I least I mind my own fucken business.” He pushed himself to sit up. “If you don’t like it, then get the fuck out. Break the door down. Oh wait, you can’t afford the damage can you?” Yup, he definitely had a death wish, but at least he was getting under his skin.

@devotion
A relieved smile appeared on her lips as he assures her that she wouldn’t hurt anyone today. His touch, proximity, and hushed words comforted her. He’s been a vampire much longer than she has, so he knew what he was doing. As long as she listens to him, then everything would be okay, even if he was right about how the passing humans were very tempting to her. She actually had to hold her breath- even though she didn’t need to breathe- as to not pick up on their scents.
“Let’s go in, I need a distraction.” Vee finally said, letting go of any worry. “Since your above age, your getting me alcohol.” The young girl looked up to him with a smirk as they started to walk. She just wanted to let loose and actually have fun.

“Even if you charm them.” She tells him with a smirk. But she actually wasn’t sure if that was true. Yes there was many times when her dads warned her about bringing boys home or sneaking out to see them. But she was sure they meant the bad ones. If they were to meet Jax, they would surely be awed at how perfect he was. Right? But once again, she reminded herself that that would never happen. She was just letting this one interaction slide. Or really she wasn’t even supposed to be having fun and dancing with him, because before she knew it, she would be meeting up with him again for coffee or something.
Anna only rolled her eyes at him when he said about undressing. Maybe with most girls the case was true, but not with her. She never understood why people were so eager to get in others pants. Had she been in a relationship, she would want to make sure her first time was special. But she would be lying is she said she wouldn’t at least want to see him shirtless. God, she could just imagine it. A well built torso with chiseled abs, a bronze tan, and his blond hair messy and falling into his blue eyes no matter how many times he tried to push it back. What is wrong with me.
Now focusing on the dance, Anna started to move with the beat of the music. She glanced up to him when he pulled her even closer. She didn’t know why her body was having such a hard time doing simple anatomy such as breathing, but she had to voluntarily breathe in and out. He was so hot from this angle, with the lights throwing shadows on his face. She just smiled shyly and looked back down.
“Not bad,” she tells him, unable to bring herself to look at him again. “But you need to relax so it could be more graceful.” Luckily for her, she used to take ballet back in Paris, so she was taught grace from such a young age.

@Iggy
Anna walked by Jax’s side with her hand hooked on his arm, holding it in a way as to not have his suit jacket slip off her shoulders and onto the floor. She didn’t want to ruin it.
At the mention of him not having a girlfriend and seeming confident about it, Anna couldn’t help but fantasize about being his girlfriend for a split second before disregarding it as nonsense. I wouldn’t even be able to, and besides, how could I be so sure he would want to date me. Here she was convincing herself that what she was doing was okay yet again. But she had to admit, she was surprised a guy as sweet and handsome was single. It seemed to unreal. How could no one be with him? We’re people blind. It must be a personal choice, especially since he’s never had one before. Maybe he’a gay? If that was true, she felt a little disappointed deep down, even though she knew they would never work out. She softly laughed at the old memory he told her about, trying to imagine a little him doing such a thing. “Same, except for the cooties part. I’ve never had a boyfriend before.”
Soon enough they were leaving the pebble pathway and moving onto the stone patio. Before they could move forward anymore, he came to a stop to look down to her with a fake horrified look. Feeling a little bold, she said, “Oh yes, and they're looking for me.” She lied, trying to seem serious. But she broke into a burst of laughter, her free hand that held her clutch move told hold her stomach from how pure it was. Now that she gave herself away, she quickly said, “I’m joking. They're not here. But if they were, you would have been murdered.” Now that wasn’t a lie. Her parents were very protective.
Finally, once they were close enough to hear the music from where they stood, he turned to her. “Okay.” She smiled sweetly as if to assure him she would take care of him. She moved her hand so it wouldn’t be holding him anymore. “Just give me a moment, s’il vous plaît,” she tells him as she slips off his jacket and moves to set it on the raised stones along with her clutch so they wouldn’t get in the way. If she were to dance with him, it would only fall off her shoulders. After that, she moved closer to him and rested her hands around his neck and waiting for him to take a hold of her waist. She felt like a swarm of butterflies was in her stomach from their proximity. “Just follow my steps,” she tells him in a soft voice, her blue eyes moving to glance down to the feet to make sure they were doing okay.

Hunter set down the bottle on the table. He wasn’t even sure what this drink was, but it looked intimidating. Could drink even do that? He laughed when Lena gave him a small clap and praised him. He actually felt proud of himself. Who would have thought flirting could get him things. Maybe he should try it more often, well, if he was brave enough.
“I would never.” Hunter assures her, his big grin turning into a soft smile. He would never ditch her for another girl. He came with her, so it would be rude of him to leave her. Plus she was his friend. Who would do that to a friend? “And I don’t care. I don’t even think I would finish a bottle by myself.” Hunter would be lying if he were to say he never drank before. He’s had a beer can here and there. But to actually drink drink, he’s never done that. He was taught that it wasn’t good for his body, and with being a werewolf and all, he should honor his body and the wolf inside him by keeping it healthy. Yet, here he was following along with what Lena wanted him to do. “Can we... can we just go somewhere more private?” He asked her, his eyes looking around to make sure no one noticed them already. He didn’t want to be caught drinking.

Amir was feeding off the reaction that he was getting from Matteo. He was very satisfied to see him pissed. Besides the attention, he enjoyed rubbing people the wrong way if they getting on his nerves, just like Matteo was doing. But hearing Matteo’s come back made him lose his grin for a snarl, even though he still felt flustered from the idea. As if he would want to suck his dick. Hell, he would become asexual for the rest of his life than ever hook up with him, or so he told himself. He was about to open his mouth to spit something back when Matteo reached out and took his cigarette, which only further pissed him off. “What would I be focused on? There’s nothing before me,” Amir said as he blew out any smoke he had taken in before the cigarette was taken away. He looked down to him as if he was nothing. Even though he gave him a daring look when he took his cigarette, Amir snatched it back, only to burn himself in the palm with it. “Shit!” He cursed and flung the cigarette to the floor.

If only it was as easy as he made it look like, not letting anything stop her from doing something she loves. But it wasn’t that easy. So much for fairy tales and their happily ever after. Yes, she was pretty content with life, living comfortably and having amazing parents. But was it really living if you didn’t do what you love and find someone to love? Instead, she pushes people away. The thought really did sadden her, but she told herself that at least she was a mystical creature.
At the mention of having a doctor save his life, Anna couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to him that had caused him to almost die. Looking at him right now, Jax seemed perfectly healthy. She would have never assumed that he came close to life and death experience. But she was glad he hadn’t died because she got to meet an amazing person like him. She thought it was best not to ask, knowing she wouldn’t want to speak about something so personal.
“You have no idea. If I’m late three minutes, I get separate thirty minutes lectures from them.” She softly laughed as she admitted. She loves her dads, but the amount of protection she got from them was just too much. At the mention of a boyfriend, she just bit her lower lip shyly and shook her head before saying, “I actually don’t have a boyfriend.” She wasn’t sure if she should be embarrassed or relieved.
After having to move on from the sad topics, which Anna was thankful for, she couldn’t help but perk up a little at the mention of doing something fun. She wondered what Jax had in mind, but before she could ask, she felt him move to take a hold of her hand. She felt her heart skip a beat from his touch before he moved it to the crook of his elbow, feeling warm despite the cold breeze. Anna tore her gaze away from their contact to look up to him when he suggested dancing. “J'adorerais,” she said with a sweet smile. “Maybe the patio?”

Sebastian smiled proudly that she would say that about him... well, about him as her dog. It meant he was a good dog if she were to spend all of her time with him and be content. “No, that’s not odd at all.” He assures her. If anything, he would want her to do that more, but that meant he would have less time to transform into his human form, which if he they continued to meet up again after this, wouldn’t be good. After giving her his answer, he waited for hers. His smile lessened, wanting to frown at what she said, but didn’t. Of course, he already knew this part, with how many times she would rant to him when they were alone in her room. “Why would you have to do that then? Why can’t you be you? I mean, I get that you come from a well-known family, but I’m sure that if you were to be your self, you wouldn’t ruin your family’s reputation.” This was something he always wanted to tell her before, but he just never had the chance.
