I just checked above and below me per the instructions I left above (it took all of four minutes to do) and I am Good to Go!

Actually, I just looked up the book James had in his most recent review round, and put that on. James, let me know if I should leave that, or if you'd like a different book reviewed.
OKAY, EVERYONE! LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN!
Please follow these instructions to make sure that you are not reviewing someone who has reviewed you before, or being reviewed by someone you have reviewed.
PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON MEMORY AS THIS HAS CAUSED PROBLEMS IN THE PAST!
You will need to check to see if you have reviewed any of the 4 people above you (the list wraps, so 10 is above 1) review, or if the 4 people below you have reviewed you. (Hopefully not.)

To check if you have reviewed someone above you, do this:

1. Go to your own profile. Under your picture, there are three links. Click on the middle link.
2. On the page this click takes you to, find the small search box that says "Search and add books
3. Type in the name of one of the 4 authors above you, then click the icon of the magnifying glass.
4. If you have never reviewed that person (which is good) the next page should say 'You have no books matching "[That author's name]" '
5. Do this three more times for each of the other three authors above you. If you get the same message that "You have no books matching "[Author's Name]"' then you have not reviewed any of the 4 people above you, and you are good in that direction.

To check if the 4 people below you have reviewed you, do this:

1. Go to the profile of one of them. Click on the middle link below their picture.
2. Type your name in the box on the next page that says "Search and add books
3. On the next page, if it says [Author's name] has no books matching "[Your name]" then they have not reviewed you, which is good!
4. Do with the other three people below you. If each one says [Author's name] has no books matching "[Your name]" then you have not been reviewed by any of the four people below you.


If you have not reviewed the 4 people above you, and the 4 people below you have not reviewed you, then you are good to go!
(The 5th person from you is in your blind spot. Neither of you will review the other.)

Once you have checked both above and below, if you are good to go, please get on here, and state that you are good to go!

Yes! I moved a few people a little for that very purpose. I just need to know what book you would like reviewed James, and then we can check again to see if everyone is good to go!

Oh, darn it. Thanks for that, Gene. Unfortunately, Amber, I'm going to have to take you off the group. Because of the conflicts of people who signed on before you, I can't move people around enough.

Hello, Yatzka. You can join with one separate book at a time. If you'd like both volumes reviewed, you can join this group, have one volume reviewed, then when you have finished all four of your reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads and posted links to them, you can join another round and have the other volume reviewed.
As this is a general round, you can join with any book as long as it is published on Amazon, and can be reviewed both there and on goodreads.
Is that acceptable to you? If so, I'll put you in one of the last two slots, and we'll be nearly ready.

James, you're welcome. Laura, yes, you will review the 4 people below you. (One spot is empty, but when it is filled, that person will be reviewed by you.) While the four people above you will review you. You will be in Pablo's blind spot.

Seth, James, and Thomas, I am so sorry! I can't see a way to fit you in with the current conflicts as I can't move anyone enough to fit you without them conflicting with each other.
Amber, it looks like I was barely able to fit you.
I am sorry, gentlemen. Long standing members often have difficulty fitting into groups with the review conflicts that they have. Please keep checking back for new groups in the future.

Florian, Joseph, and Tony, I'm so sorry! This is very frustrating. But because of your current conflicts, it doesn't look like I can fit any of you in. The people here already have conflicts, and I can't move them around very much. Not enough to fit you in without review conflicts. At least there is no way that I can see. I apologize!

Thank you for the suggestion, Laura. To move things faster, this has been changed to a General round. As Cecilia appears to have gone to join group 372 to get that group moving, and J R will be able to review David while being reviewed by me, (currently in Gene's blind spot) I have put J R in. Welcome, J R! Hopefully now that it is a General round, it will fill a bit faster!

This is taking a while to fill. However, both the General and Clean rounds only have one spot each left to fill. If anyone wants to drop out and join either the General Round here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

so those groups can get going, that would be fine. It's possible (especially if you're a fast reader) that your spot here may still be available when you've completed your reviews in either of those rounds.
You don't have to, but I thought I'd offer the suggestion to get those groups going since both of them are waiting on just one more person to join.

You're right! Oops! I saw his name in your list of books, but did not notice you had not read/reviewed it, and it was only in your want to read list.
It looks like in the current line up in this review round so far, the only person whose book you have read is me. And no one else has read or reviewed you. Is that right?
