With all the new developments I really can't wait to see how Max plays into the future of EIT. Even if he clearly becomes a villain, I think he adds an interesting layer to the series as a whole. There's always a bad guy and he may just be ours. Besides Jenn and Abby, we really don't have a lingering bad person.Dex. This book is fantastic for digging in deeper to his messed up psyche! And I aggree...I LOVE reading his true feeling for Perry! It's such a victory for me as a fan to know he cares for her and thinks about her constantly!
There will be 2 in the series... She added this part to the synopsis...The Devil's Metal is the first book in a two-part New Adult Horror/Paranormal Romance and very (very!) loosely based on the author's exploits as a music journalist. Hell comes in different forms.
I think so! Sage apparently wears a black shirt slightly unbuttoned, black jeans and FLIP FLOPS! LOL! I had to ask Karina was his wardrobe looked like. :)
Then this one will terrify the ever living shit out of us. Camping in the Rockies and Bigfoot? Yeah, DSM was so terrifying because they were alone and there only protection was a small knife and flare gun? I think I'd start packing heat if I was them. Not that it will protect against the paranormal....
Bigfoot and the abdominal snowman. Love it! Let's chat! The sneak peak we get makes me soooo damn excited for the future of Perry and Dex! I think it looks very promising! Nothing is ever easy for these 2 but I really think they realize how much they love each other and will work it out!
But this one is promising to be scary as hell! Love it!
Thats exactly why I started this forum! A place where we can all squeal, vent, cry over anything Perry and Dex related when the mood strikes us. :D
Mary wrote: "Hi everybody, I'm Mary and I read the first 3 books in the series so far and I loved every single one. After I read them as eBooks - I also ordered the paperbacks *LOL."Welcome Mary! Hope you love the rest of the series! I need to but the PB's also. I won a defiled copy of On Demon Wings and now want all of them. :D
Hey Jeannie and welcome! Definitely catch up before you read the Dex-Files. It contains many spoilers but you will LOVE it once you get to it!
Samina ~ Escapism~ wrote: "Also the way he was trying to charm (flirt, I say) his way in the interview. Eeeks!"Samina! That was fun. He totally started that and all his inuendo. Heehee! Does that shit work in the real world with the ladies? That's what I want to know. If a creeper responded like that to me I would walk away!
Barbara wrote: "Emmy I need to read Dex Files before checking the interview with Max???"I think it's pretty spoiler free. He's vague...
Lise!!! I was cracking the hell up when he responded with that! Lmao! Thick sounds, hit you hard. LOLOLOLOL
Dex has my heart. I just like harmless flirting! :)
So in case you wanted to read this... My interview with Maximus for the Dex-Files blog tour.Yeah, he's a flirt and toots his own horn.
Yep. He's shady but I'm keeping my eye on him. After reading the Dex-Files, he is a major key player to me with an unknown role and I can't wait to find out what he's hiding!
Samina ~ Escapism~ wrote: "I'm with you Nina. I dislike that Cajun. He should be punished for this stupid acts towards Perry. Somebody said he cares about her. I say what a load of crap.I hope something terrible happens to ..."
LOL Samina. I think he cares for her. Part of my reasons come from some of the scenes Karina wrote in the Dex-Files. Between Dex and Max... What she wrote shows, to me, in some fucked up way, that he cares. But I don't want to spoil with quotes since it's not released yet.
I think so!!! I love the concept. Weirdo groupies? Sold! And Sage? Can't wait to meet him and Dawn! Karina is so awesome with characters and character growth that I'm sure I'll love them! I just noticed I use way too many exclamations in this thread. LOL. And awesome. I am a product of 90's. :)
It’s the summer of 1974 and 21-year old Dawn Emerson has only three things she wants to do: compete one last time in the Ellensburg Rodeo, win back her ex-boyfriend Ryan, and become the best damn music journalist at Central Washington University. But all her plans are left in the dust when she’s contacted by Creem magazine to go on the road with one of her favorite groups, the up-and-coming metal band, Hybrid. At first the assignment reads like a dream come true. Not only will Dawn land some much-needed credibility as a female music journalist, but she’ll finally get to experience life from the other side of the stage, and maybe crack the drunken, enigmatic code that is guitarist Sage Knightly. Instead, Dawn finds herself on an aging tour bus filled with ego-maniacs, band politics and a whole lot of sex, drugs and rock n’ roll. When monsters start showing up in dressing rooms and some of Sage’s groupies become increasingly strange and dangerous, Dawn discovers the band is not only going places – they’re going straight to Hell.
And Dawn has a backstage pass.
The official synopsis!!!! Add it to your TBR today!!!
Can you tell I'm a little excited? ;)
