Yes she is! Now the next book is Ashes to Ashes. Original by David Bowie but I love the Faith No More version! Especially when I watch the video. Mike Patton in the suit definitely reminds me of Dex when he dresses up for the Christmas party. Those lyrics leave lots of room to theorize too! But now I'm just getting ahead of myself!

Well, as far as Dex is concerned, she was inspired by Mike Patton. There might be other inspirations but he was the main one. Karina had a different guy playing Dex in the first trailer and had a casting call a while ago for the guy we have now as Dex. Yeah, I think he's a pretty awesome Dex too.

Perry? I don't know much about the inspiration behind Perry but I think it's a friend that plays her.

Me too! She's a very genuine character. I remember when I first started reading this, because of her insecurities, I had a totally different visual for her. She always goes on about her weight, etc. Then, as the series continues and we hear more from Dex about Perry, she transformed! She has insecurities like most women do, but she's not crippled with dwelling on it or crazy from it.
