"The Maids of Biddenden" by G.D. Harper
A historical fiction based on the real-life conjoined twins who probably lived during the 11th-12th century. A good read for fans of this genre.

"The Edge of Summer" by Erica George - YA Romance.
Didn't really work as I had expected, but the whale-related parts were awesome.

"The Seawomen" by Chloe Timms
The cover points us in a different direction but the story is worth a go. Brilliant for a debut work. Dystopian, atmospheric, somewhat slow.

Sarah wrote: "Anyone else ever get that sinking feeling, when it dawns that you've been approved for four separate titles, all being released on the same day. 7 July must be an auspicious date in publishing..."Yes! What's with 7th July? I have 5 books releasing on that date! Plus another 6 on 5th July. Gonna be a busy week.
"Bitch: On the Female of the Species" by Lucy Cooke.
With such a fab title, cover, and author, you bet it's worth it. It was an amazing read.

"Life Before Us" by Irish writer Roisin Meaney.
Enjoyed it a lot more than I had expected. Not a romance as the cover suggests; it's contemporary fiction.

"Four Ways to Wear a Dress" by Gillian Libby
It's a no from me, but it will work for NA readers who enjoy Instagram more than I do.

"Arsene Lupin, Gentleman Thief" by Maurice Leblanc
Classic stories about the "gentleman thief" presented in a new illustrated package. Worth it for detective fiction fans.

"The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle" by Jennifer Ryan.
Has its share of flaws but still a nice read.

"How To Save A Life" by Clare Swatman.
Looks like a light romcom, but is more a slow and somewhat dark story of relationships. I loved it.

"Counterfeit" by Kirstin Chen.
Light-hearted fun, though it could have developed the characters better. 3.5 stars.

Haha, love the title of the book! 😃
"Long Lost Girl" by Jill Childs
I expected something totally different! A disappointing 2 stars.

Completed "The Gravity of Missing Things" by Marisa Urgo.
A fast-paced YA mystery-drama. Will work well for its target audience.

Finally completed "The Witch's Tree" by Elena Collins.
I slogged through this one, but most readers seem to have loved it. An outlier 2.5 stars review.

"Yerba Buena" by Nina LaCour -
Marked as a romance on NG and GR, but it is more of a coming-of-age drama. Worth a read for literary fiction lovers. 3.75 stars.

Completed "The Lies I Tell" by Julie Clark.
A pretty good revenge drama. 3.75 stars.

"Three More Months" by Sarah Echavarre - women's fiction.
Expected a lot, lot more from this one. Highly disappointing. 2 stars.

A quick fun read. 4 stars.

"Everything in Between" by Italian-Australian writer Valerie G. Miller.
Expected a lot more from this anthology. 3 stars.

Completed "Gods of Jade and Shadow" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Though it is not written as a YA book, it will certainly work well as a YA Fantasy.

"Small Eden" -
A literary fiction by Jane Davis. Complicated and slow, but was worth the efforts.

The Lady with the Gun Asks the Questions
A short story anthology by Kerry Greenwood with the intriguing Miss Phryne Fisher in charge. I liked it but would have loved it more were I more familiar with the character. The short tales don't bring out her prowess to the fullest. I loved the character though.
