Rightio - that's my list completed... I updated my first post. We shall see how I go :DThanks Brenda for posting your list, The Mine seemed interesting.
Yes that'd be right Tonile. Starting from 1st March and goes through till the end of May :DI would be completely unable to do this challenge if it was shorter!
Quite a number of them were already at the top end of my TBR list, I just had a bit of a search and TA-DA - they fell into place quite nicely :D
Ok, so a quick squizz and I came up with this list. Still a bit stumped on the ANZAC one...3. RECYCLE - the library: Full Dark, No Stars by Stephen King
Occupation: Policeman
7. Colours of Autumn:
Forgotten Fox by Lena Horn8. Easter: Advent by Natasha Duncan-Drake
Reason: Hunters are prevalent in the book, one must be a good hunter to get all the easter eggs!
9. Anzac Day: The Mine by John A. Heldt
10. Mothers Day: Partials by Dan Wells - not sure about this Mother connection, but unless I find something else this will probably be it.
11. TBR: Linked Through Time by Jessica Tornese
Hmm... Perhaps I might have to see if I can find a few books to throw at this one Brenda. I shall have a shuffle through my TBR list.
It's the new kindle that has the inbuilt light in the screen, but it isn't backlit. Quite nice really.
Amazon is supposedly not selling them in Aus till Feb.ETA: Just confirmed that I am unable to ship a paperwhite to my Australian address.
Ooh. Thanks June! I can't say I have ever read a memoir before. I would be happy to add your book to my TBR list, it would be around #50... Do it would be a bit of a wait. If you don't mind, I can PM you my email address. Let me know :)
Some things bug me more than others, for the most part the 'general' bugs don't phase me, but disappearing reviews is an issue!
I did, I posted on another thread about a missing book from shelves... Also the stats are way out! I'm apparently Top Reviewer #9 for australia this month with a whopping 43 reviews... um... wrong!
It's totally awesome that GR thinks I can read and review that many books in a month, I'm not sure if my boss would like that though. I'd have to start reading while at work, or forgo sleeping :P
Has anyone else noticed of late that books/reviews are going missing from your profile?? Perhaps it's just me, but a review of a book I read in January just popped up on my thread because I added it to another shelf, (which is fine) but my review was missing and all my other shelving tags.
Strange
Ooh... I will have to get that one! I just signed up to her mailing list and scored three of her books for free :) isn't she just awesome?!
It seems my average page length this year is 184 pages. This is based upon my current reading challenge stats. I've read 105 books and a total of 19345 pages. I do wonder though if that doesn't include the books that don't record their total pages on the book data information?!
Personally I don't mind a thick book, but there's a bit of a limit. I think the thickest book I've read was about 1000 pages long. the longest book I've read this year was Inheritance at 860 pages.
Well I managed to get a lot of them done.Time for the final update:
Jane of the Jungle
The Moon Dwellers
