Tonight I'm going to start A Murderous Procession, the latest Adelia Aguilar book by Ariana Franklin. I hope I enjoy it as much as I have the previous three.

I'm reading Lincoln's Dreams by Connie Willis, very interesting. I, also, just finished Thirteen Reasons Why, a YA/teen book by Jay Asher, and it was such an excellent book!

I just finished The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag by Alan Bradley and loved it! It continues the excellence set forth in the first book of this delightful new series, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. Flavia de Luce is my new favorite character.

I really liked this one of hers, too, because of the books and libraries.

I've read all of Fairstein's books, Julie and enjoyed them, although some more than others. I especially liked Entombed. I usually enjoy series like this. I have her new one, Hell Gate, but I haven't gotten to it, yet.

Oh, Li, I have the first two Sebastian St. Cyr mysteries on my wish list.

I just ordered and received from Amazon the first three in the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters--Crocodile on the Sandbank, The Curse of the Pharaohs, and The Mummy Case. I've also purchased Linda Fairstein's latest, Hell Gate and Libba Bray's Going Bovine.

I'm starting Death at the Alma Mater: A St. Just Mystery by G.M Malliet today, the third and latest in the St. Just mysteries.

I just finished Blackout by Connie Willis and loved it, except for the ending. I will go ahead and tell you, since it won't spoil anything, that it doesn't end or conclude. Willis has All Clear coming out next fall that will continue and conclude the story.

Thanks, Beth. I don't often win things, so it was such a pleasant shock.

I am so excited! I received notification from Laurie R. King, author of the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series, that I have won a signed, exclusive copy of her short story featuring these characters. It's illustrated and can't be purchased anywhere (yet?). I won it in one of the contests for the countdown towards The God of the Hive release in April.

Oh Jo, so glad to see that you love this one. I have been wanting to get to it for some time. I will make sure that I do so this year now.

I just finished Death and the Lit Chick: A St. Just Mystery, the 2nd in the St. Just series by G.M. Malliet. I love these books, and am getting ready to order the 3rd one (and last one so far), Death at the Alma Mater: A St. Just Mystery.

Just bought The Last Witchfinder: A Novel by James Morrow, The Seeing Stone (Spiderwick Chronicles, 2) by Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi, and The Dead Travel Fast by Deanna Raybourn.

I just finished The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte, a good Victorian read.

Yesterday I bought Postmistress by Sarah Blake.

Just finished a nice cozy mystery, Death of a Valentine by M.C. Beaton.

Finished The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova--magnificent book!
