Now I'm reading
P is for Peril by
Sue Grafton. So far I've been enjoying it--Kinsey Milhone is looking into the disappearance of the doctor who ran an old folk's home.

Right now I'm reading
Chiefs by
Stuart Woods, which I've just started. So far it's been good--it's about three generations of police chiefs in the small town of Delano, Georgia. It's Woods' first novel and hearkens back to his family history.

I'd like to nominate for the Books That Can Be Read to Cats shelf some cozy mysteries in which cats play a major role. There's
The Cat Who Ate Danish Modern and the rest of that series by
Lilian Jackson Braun. The adorable Siamese cats Koko and Yum Yum are unforgettable. There's also
No Cooperation from the Cat: A Mystery by
Marian Babson who's written other mysteries with cats in them. And
Lydia Adamson has a series of mysteries featuring cats.

Right now I'm reading
Off the Grid by
P.J. Tracy. It's a crime novel set in Minneapolis and so far I've been enjoying it.

Currently I'm reading a thriller called
Panic by
Jeff Abbott. So far it's been suspenseful with lots of action and intrigue. I've been enjoying it.

Currently I'm reading
Stolen by
Daniel Palmer. It's about a man whose wife has cancer and needs an expensive medication. So he steals another man's identity. The man whose identity he stole crops up in his life and demmmmmands that he play a game called Criminal. So far it's been a pageturner.
