+ Innovative, in everything he does Zayn has proven himself a quick-witted pupil to anyone who holds the patience to teach him. His thought process allows him to piece together a progressive way of thinking aiding him to never hold back once he sets his mind to getting something done. His mind is always swimming with ideas without cease.
+Opinionated, as if there is ever room for another's thoughts to pass through his mind. Disagreeing with this storm spirit is like pissing in the wind. However, his opinions are not so great to be overbearing to those around him.
+Passionate, once something comes to be a goal for Zayn it seems there is no stopping him. Any subject that intrigues him or any goal he has set for himself becomes a top priority which he will passionately pursue.
+Altruistic, even with his stern opinions and passion in all he does, Zayn also faces being too kind and generous. Often donating his own belongings to aid in refuge for Sparks trapped in the mundane realm before venturing into Addermire.
+Inquiring, hosting a drive and know-how is only an advantage for an inquiring mind. He usually can answer the questions for himself, but curiosity will cease to amaze when Zayn is setting a goal which requires answers.

-Spontaneous, his mind races 100 miles a second and no one can seem to keep up. Once an idea hits Zayn's thoughts it seems that it must be done at that moment of thinking of it.
-Loyalty, taking up arms for his people and his house. Zayn will stand at which side he feels he fits at that time. Unfortunately, he is extremely loyal to anyone he feels he can trust.
-Unwary, to Zayn everyone is capable of hosting good and bad. He will naturally seek the good in them and choose to see it before anything bad about a person ever crosses his mind. He will trust anyone who tells him to. His loyalty is as great as his academic inclinations. Where he lacks street smarts he makes up for in the classroom.
-Reserved, his emotional state can run at high levels often, but he is good at hiding it. He doesn't share too much about himself, because it holds little relevance to the here and now. He keeps quiet around those he can't interact with individually making him seem socially awkward.
-Impassive, many things can happen in the world to make one hide their true feelings behind a facade of hyper-active spontaneity. He seems almost entirely without feeling or emotion hiding behind himself so others might not worry over him.

▻ Born to a Harpy and a mundane man who found one another on the mundane side. The man held no love, just hatred. The civil war has been on the brink for ages, but everyone will clash whether or not war is present. The man held no desire for the presence of the Harpy and a fight broke out. It wasn't long before the munndane was gone having already attacked and raped the Harpy. Elysia Perun, the harpy, was pregnant and just trying to make it back to the realm divide after the horrible injuries sustained from her attack by the mortal. Unfortunately, just as mortals the body of Sparks can only take so much. Carrying the little wind spirit inside of her nearly full term Elysia died during childbirth.
Zayn was given his name by his mother's last breath, but that did not mean he was significant in a world so cruel. He was raised in a French orphanage just outside of Ontario, Canada. Zayn was brought up mundane, but eventually he would be forced out of his home for what he was. When he was seven his abilities first began to show. This frightened the mundanes raising him and he was placed out in the harsh winter climate to do as he could.
Somehow, one of the primordial's, or by some other divine miracle, permitted a world rift to open before the young boy. Stepping through and watching it close behind him Zayn entered Portermount. He was placed on the isle which hosted many nymphs and dryads. He was discovered on the beach where a gust of wind brushed his cheek in comfort. Her name was Nephaia and she was a beautiful Aurae, breeze nymph. Zayn was brought up by both Nephaia and her sister Nimba who took the young Ventus into their home and knew very well what the boy was.
To Nephaia, Zayn was a younger brother, but Nimba kept things together and ensure Zayn to be brought up in a proper manner. Both Nephaia and Nimba were former students to Addermire and knew that someone from there saved the boy from the mundane realm. He was something special to them and Nimba ensured his thriving survival. As all three were Sparks connected to the air Zayn was left to be taught the harnessing of his powers. When time came to take him on to the institute for their kind Nephaia pleaded with Nimba to not make him leave the safety of their isle. Unfortunately, Nephaia was heard in vain. Nimba escorted young 11 year old Zayn to Addermire where he was introduced to a few members of the faculty. She hugged him tightly before letting him go off and become a member of their society. Nephaia always writes even now to make sure he is having the best of times at the one place she did not feel to be safe for him. While Nimba would often write letters to the institute in hopes to find where Zayn came from. No one should be left alone in the world and now Zayn wasn't his adopted mother wanted to find out how and why he was left alone.
It's been nearly 10 years since Zayn was abandoned and adopted into the only family he will ever consider home. At school he learned to control his stallion form when taking flight. He may not be able to help when someone is hit by a zap of electricity surging from him, but he has come a long way in controlling his abilities. Zayn is a student who has undertaken many judgments but held no faults. He has come to keep to his studies and watch after those who wait for him to fail somewhere. He has felt he has had to prove himself to someone since his arrival at Portermount as he holds no clue why he was saved from the harsh mundane world. He has spent much of his education seeking answers as to why he was so important to be saved, when so many others continue suffering in the mundane world. What stuck him out as special? Who chose him over the other orphans who may have been Sparks? All these questions have pushed his education and learning experience. He has wanted nothing more than the answers and he doesn't seem to be backing down for any reason. It is his goal to find his birth parent, who they were, know what made for them give to him up, and why he was selected to live when most would have been forgotten and left to die.

+Honest, Cethin seems incapable of ever lying to someone if asked a question he must answer it honestly out of pure habit to be honest.
+Clever, like most serpents are referred as with a wit about him that is hard to challenge.
+Adaptable, seeming to prove that no situation can't be worked out just by simply becoming apart of the situation at hand.
+Intuitive, reading his audience like a book, Cethin always has the right words and accusations of people. He seems to know all he needs to know about someone just with a few glances and greetings.
+Charismatic, mostly due to the fact that the moment he enters a room the room seems to turn toward him. He holds himself in a way that makes others want to get to know him and be around him.
+Generous, material things can simply be bought all over again. Anything old must go and he doesn't care who it goes to.
+Mannerly, being brought up in wealth, he no doubt, holds a gentleman's etiquette.

-Apathetic, only because the emotions of others matter very little to him as it is only his own which make him concerned.
-Vain, Not just by appearance, but by everything. Cethin proves his vanity always upstaging someone with as little effort as possible just to simply do it with his gentleman's etiquette.
-Secretive, no one truly matters to him so why should he feel so open and caring to let others know how he really feels or what he truly thinks about when by himself.
-Possessive, Not of his own things, but of his own people. Cethin holds a hardcore mindset for what is his and what he considers his. He would take many lovers all to be his own, but many will get hurt if he learns that they are not his and his alone.
-Polygamous, Love isn't an extant concept for Cethin as he feels he should be able to share his body with anyone he chooses not a select one who uses a choice word to define their relations.
-Judgemental, he is rich, what did you expect? Of course, Cethin is judgemental. Not only is he above the humans of the mundane realm, but he feels superior even to poorer Sparks.
-Temperamental, don't piss him off or you may just make it to enemy number one. His grudges do not last long, but his temper is a fury that will last until death.
-Relation-Using, self explanatory really, He isn't going to hold a conversation with someone or associate with them if he isn't getting some advantage in life out of such relations.

▻Born and raised in Portermount to Ceto Orpheus and Ragnar Orpheus. Ceto and Ragnar are a high noble family in Portermount. The Orpheus family have been apart of the realms history since it's making. The Orpheus Naga line were the first of the Shade alignment to cross from one realm into the next permanently. Cethin was not born to see the destruction brought upon the mundane realm that caused the creation of his home, but his family often speaks of the old days when the mundane bowed before their kind. Even as many Naga are aligned under Neutral they still face a darkness inside of themselves that leaves them unable to be truly placed on either side. The serpent people are like the Dragons and find that caring for themselves over the sides that are taken is the better path to avoid conflict.
Cethin was destined from birth to be a Spark and a Naga as every member of his family has ensured the purity of their line only venturing to mate with Dragons over their own kind. Cethin was brought up in a biased home and was raised to think as a Naga and not as a member of any faction, but his own kinds. Even Dragons who are held as mightiest do not hold themselves at such a high standard as the impowered Naga.
Their kind has always found a way to survive without intermingling their blood ties to their own kind. Some have ventured from the path of purity and supremacy, by mating with the mundane mortals and giving rise to halfbreeds, as the Naga would call a mundane born Spark. Cethin has underwent all his years of school and will soon be granted a place in society whether it be the mundane or the spark society will depend on what comes to claim his power and which side will call to him the greatest.
