+▻positive<+
+>Sincere - Any action that Troy is willing to do comes from the heart. Anything he says is stated for the ears around him. He thinks each word through carefully before speaking and tries to make everyone see his intentions no matter what the circumstance might be. If he curses someone it isn't something he would think about later because deep down he meant for it to be done.
+>Respectable - Being a guy who doesn't hold shame in his actions he has gained a lot of hate, but also a lot of respect. Most won't cross him because they know he doesn't care to tell it like it is. If you need advice and don't wish to get hurt in the process Troy is the wrong guy to see. It's his openness that makes and breaks his friendships. However, he has proven himself time and time again to many that he truly is an all-around great guy. He is kind, but hurtful, if giving the truth doesn't earn someone some respect then nothing should.
+>Mellow - Very laid-back and down-to-earth, Troy isn't one to get involved with people's drama. He keeps his own qualities in check so fewer have things to run their mouths about. He doesn't ever get upset by someone else's problems, no matter how much he really cares. He can often come across as a pretentious snob, but those that no him can say he is more of one to only be concerned with the things that can be changed.
+>Eloquent -Wording things the right way helps in athletics, but it can also help out his many friends. He is a persuasive guy and can get a crowd excited for almost anything. It almost seems like persuasion is one of his abilities or at least suggestion is.
+>Encouraging - What makes Troy a good friend is his lack of care for self-pity, but he isn't going to kick someone while they are down. He will be the guy to lift someone up out of their cloud and into the sun. He doesn't like seeing depression in others nor does he care for the words "try", "can't", & "won't". For Troy if you are breathing then you should hold the will to do anything.
+>Open - An entirely overt personality, not just his behavior. Everything he does is seen by someone and for him it is meant to be seen by someone. He is the sort that will do things to get noticed by himself more so than others, but he likes the attention. Anything that might pop into his head will surely bolt from his mouth.
+>Optimistic - Being mellow and encouraging to friends isn't an easy task for just anyone. He was born happy and if ever a dark side came over Troy...well, it hasn't happened yet to know what would.
+>Intuitive - Clairvoyant, really, Troy holds such intuition in life that he always has a plan. He says it comes to him and he does it, but in reality his own future can be seen as he sleeps and his goals to be pursued are already laid down for him. He is able to know everyone's past and a lot of their secrets. It is mostly done through touch, but the poor guy hasn't even figured that fact out about himself, yet.

<-negative->
<-Bossy - Demanding is an understatement. Once he gets volunteers all he has to do is speak and get the job done. He is not one to sit back and watch others work and he is certainly not the sort to work while others sit back. When Troy has become frustrated in any manner of speaking he will let everyone know just why he is so frustrated until everyone that isn't doing feels lesser than what they are.
<-Self-involved - "Image is everything so if you can't look good for yourself why should you try looking good for someone else?" Troy knew very well that image wasn't everything, but throughout his life he has always pushed to impress himself rather than be held at a standard by others.
<-Apathetic - Due to his open mouth and sincerity it has been known for Troy to come across as an apathetic loser. He doesn't look at the fact that Susie's grandmother passed away today and how she must feel about it. He looks at the fact that Susie's grandmother has died and all she is doing to make the dead broad proud is sulking in her own misery over a death that wasn't her own.
<-Stubborn - If you think he is bossy don't try arguing with him because you will see quickly when he makes his mind up it is made up indefinitely.
<-Overambitious - Coming across as a pretentious snob can get some dirty looks, but Troy never does something he cannot do well. If made to do something he is unable to do he will quickly figure it out, but he has not been pushed as far as talents and know-how to discover something he hasn't already learned.
<-Unorthodox - It's not his fault he knows how to do something in the easiest way possible. He just gets things done better and correctly when he doesn't do it the way everyone else would. It took a lot of time for his professors to recognize his radical behavior. Troy was always putting two and two together before the lesson on what two and two were could be finished.

▾ ⋮ history:
▻ Born to Jude Samael Kione and Anaïca Roseline Obayana aka Marie Catherine Laveau, both coming from great lineages of Sparks all of which have been blessed magically as Witches, Sorcerers, Enchantresses, & even Archdemons. Jude's father was a well practiced Voodoo King in the town of New Orleans, but his family was not nearly as notable as his beloved. Marie took on many alias's through the centuries. It was Jude's act to invoke her spirit that brought them together. During a regular ceremony used to invoke the loa and take possession by one Jude summoned Marie Laveau to give him answers about the recovery of his townspeople after a great storm. However, Marie did not take possession of anyone involved during the ceremony. Instead she arose from the flames as flesh and blood. As a Voodoo Queen Marie was believed to be the host to many great and terrible forces. Most not ever truly seeing the power brought on by voodoo ceremonies fled upon her arrival. Jude remained still seeking his answers and Marie was happy to oblige him. He recognized her not as a spirit but a person who like him needed help of some kind. In return for her aid Jude offered Marie anything she desired. For Jude her request was odd, but manageable, she desired another heir. "Give me blood of my blood and give me light of your soul. Grant me by the mothering moon and fathering sun the pains of labor of the forgotten nameless people."
Jude obliged the Voodoo Queen of old and laid with her in an almost ritualistic form of intercourse which took place in the embers of their sacrificial fire. Once the ritual had been performed Marie could only smile promising Jude a thousand years of peace for his people. Then she bellowed out to the skies with tears of great pain as if she were just starting to feel the flames kiss her skin. Jude still felt cold in the fire, but watched as a body formed between them. Marie spoke in her spirity way, "Blood of my blood, Light of Man, I give from the moon and sun a boy to the earth. Ethan Kenneth Laveau Troy Kione shall bear the trait of the flame just as I have bore him to the flame." Marie remained in the physical world in complete physical form. She informed Jude of how she has lived for centuries walking among mankind and watching over her people. How her death was only visible to those who could not see beyond the spirit cloud. Marie remained in New Orleans with her new lover and their baby boy. Marie often spoke to her magically born baby, "You, Troy, shall be like the city of your name and face a great war that will be remembered into many ages." Troy was raised by Marie in a beauty parlor she opened not far from their home. They lived in her old district in the French Quarter and ensured that Troy grew up learning a number of languages. French, German, English, Creole, Spanish and Latin were all the languages Marie Laveau taught her son. Her alias in New Orleans during the current age was Anaïca Roseline Obayana. Jude knew his father as a Sorcerer Voodoo King, but Jude was not nearly as powerful as his father only being a mortal with spark bloodline. Marie however was something of both the spirit world and the physical world. She was the hybrid Witch Demon who was followed and still followed as a great leader to the colored residence of New Orleans. Marie made sure that Jude knew all about the world of Portermount and where their son would go to be fully educated in his abilities. Honestly, Jude kept it secret from Marie that he wished their son to not be a Spark, but instead entirely ordinary. However, nothing could be hidden from Marie as she knew a great deal of many things.
Troy was brought up with both Catholic and Voodoo religious influence. His mother taught him the voodoo witch practices which actually work for real Sparks. She also taught him demon magic as well as other forms. While those of the mundane arts would find Marie and Troy's practices unholy she ensured he kept it silent until he was of age to leave for Portermount. Given that Jude was entirely human a professor did indeed present the letter to further inform Jude of what Troy is to expect in the other realm of Portermount.
Marie still visits Troy in his dreams sometimes bringing Jude along for the ride, but both parents agreed that Troy was safest in Portermount until he had full control over his abilities. Attending the school wasn't a problem. Troy made friends quickly always having a smile to share with someone and often giving great advice even when he wasn't asked for it. Troy made a name for himself at the school being a member of the top gossip for nearly four years, but slowly he just began to blend in with the crowds and make many lasting friendships for years to come.

+▻Steadfast - As a rather reliable guy, he stands firm in keeping things continuously organized. Morgan is a teacher watching over hundreds of souls if he isn't someone who can be relied on to keep those children safe then he shouldn't be there.
+>Confident - He is a bit full of himself, but he is always certain in everything he does. For him even when he is unsteady he shows confidence to his students so as to demonstrate a way of being, like a role model.
+>Caring - It would be a lie if he ever said that he didn't care about something. The moment matters are brought to his attention Morgan is thinking on how to handle it and he usually always handles it.
+>Persuasive - His voice is rather relaxing and his touch is pretty soothing. As a Kelpie it has been a natural gift for his species to be able to coax others to their domain. Now it is simply used to ensure his students are paying attention rather than becoming interested in something else when Morgan suggest another subject to be interesting the kids can't help but to delve their minds into whatever he wishes to teach.
+>Observant - Morgan studies other people's behavior very closely. He pays extra-close attention to the set-up of rooms or a nervous persons twitches. Nothing ever gets past him so don't be in his class passing notes he watched you write it and give eyes to your friend even when he was turned around writing on his board.
+>Responsive - As a teacher he makes a point to always give his students an answer to whatever their question might be. Whether the answer is valid or him just making fun is always up in the air.

▾ ⋮ history:
▻Born near a loch which held many underwater caverns. A Ventus named Armando Cheval and a Naiad named Cordelia Cascade found love with one another in the middle of the mundane world. The couple were aquaitances when they attended Addermire. Long before the third primordial ever got sight of the sun Armando and Coredelia were members of a self-proclaimed activist group in their last school year pushing for the realms to be joined together and all doors open between both worlds. This group thought to allow the mundane to enter their world for as long as they followed the Portermount government. They were pushing to make Portermount a part of the mundane world as a separated country. Some made it into the mundane realm to convince prime ministers and presidents, but naturally they were laughed at as loons and nothing became of their efforts.
The group, against the Portermount government and concealing the worlds apart from one another, were rounded up as a public disturbance. They had little care as to if it were the government, which they blamed, or the Primordial's that created the divide. The ones who had time to escape the authority made it into the mundane world and chose to live mundane lives. Whether it was the primordial's who made it happen or the Abyss itself slowly those who rebelled and made it into the mundane realm lost their spark. They still were considered Sparks, but they had grown so far from their natural elements their abilities were no longer of willful control many losing a lot of their powers due to not practicing with their abilities any longer. It was on the Isle of Man that both Cordelia and Armando happened to fall onto when leaving their home behind. Even so, falling into the mundane realm, Cordelia and Armando found one another and seemed to fall for one another.
Cordelia was a stay at home mother on the Isle of Man while Armando worked in the mines. Being underground sucked away Armando's connection to the wind and air. Slowly he was unable to even muster up the slightest of breezes. While Cordelia was still unable to go outside due to the increasing amount of rainfall which made her appear transparent even with her clothes completely covering her. The couple eventually had Morgan who was clearly a Spark from the moment he was born because when he entered the world the Isle of Man did not see rain for nearly a week. Cordelia felt that meant he was some sort of elemental of light, but Armando blamed a rough sea for good weather. The good weather became a freak incident which would not stop as the entire year not a single drop of rain fell from the heavens. Cordelia saw it as a blessing as she was able to play and laugh outside with Morgan without vanishing. Armando became the idea of mundane, however, where Cordelia loved the blessings of their home, Armando was left working the mines each day and tired each night until one day when a storm did come and rain finally touched the isle after the seven year drought.
Cordelia was outside hanging clothes on the line when she saw the brewing clouds rush from the sea. It was unnatural and she knew that something horrible was coming. Young Morgan was only seven as he watched the cloud touch the water and bring up with it into the sky massive waves which could swallow the entire island if they were closer to shore. It took only a minute for the massive storm to surge over them and news reports of the mines being flooded came with heartbreak. Morgan's father was among the lost and Cordelia went mad when it occurred. The storm continued for weeks on end seeming to make up for the years of drought. Morgan was ten when the rain finally stopped, but by that time his mother would hardly talk and never smile and never say she loved him. Morgan was left caring for his mother. At least he felt he would always care for her. That was until his eleventh birthday and he received his letter. His mother did say she loved him and she even moved from facing the window to walk outside with her son.
They walked toward the shore and rain came making Cordelia vanish almost entirely. "Morgan, I'm opening a door for you and you may never see your mother again, but know I love you my sweet sweet water-horse." Her last words ever spoken to her son before she melted into a puddle. Her life force was not wasted as that puddle became a freshwater spring rather quickly.

Morgan was thrown into the ocean which acted as a mirror between worlds. His mother knew how to open the door, but only for him. He appeared in a fountain in the school yard climbing out completely dry. At first it felt strange, but he felt normal for the most part until eyes turned on him. Everyone looked shocked and half frightened at Addermire when they watched a young foal leap from the fountain. Morgan flipped when he looked into the fountain and saw his reflection. Luckily, he was coaxed into his human form by a few professors. Morgan made a point to stay away from water for the longest time. Not only did it threaten to change his appearance, but it threatened the resurfacing of painful memories.
Many students taunted him when they learned what he was. Snide remarks were a constant all the way until his third year. "What do you call a kelpie who is afraid of water? A Morgan Cheval!" Thank the gods for the manticore girl who showed up in his third year. The kids had something new to make fun of. Now attention was off of him, Morgan was able to focus more on his studies and less on what people thought of him. Unfortunately, when one witnesses something horrible they usually become traumatized or imprinted by such a horrible event. Morgan still suffered his distaste for water even though the taunting had ended. His studies became his primary focus as he was certain he would come to be a teacher or one of the disciplinary staff so he could punish all those students who ever picked on him or anyone else. He of course matured out of his grudges and excelled in his studies as he became more and more intrigued with the development of transformation magic which was presented to aid students in harnessing their natural and unnatural forms. Morgan mastered the forms of a Kelpie within his sixth year and pursued a teaching degree in Transfiguration. By the time he was attending Addermire in his ninth year of studies he was presented with his diploma and certification to teach. The old Transformation Studies professor was ready to retire to the forest. She was a hamadryad attached to a very old tree which somehow she mastered to be very tiny in her pocket. She was ready to go home and Morgan was ready to step up to the plate.
Morgan has been teaching ever since.

Zayn pointed at Ava, "Blind him now!" He shouted as he clinched his fist and flexed every muscle in his body. Lightening surged in his fist while sparks began to ignite all around him. It was like a giant energy surge meeting in one place for an even bigger explosion. His eyes turned lightning blue and for a second his body seemed transparent. He started to look more like a whirlwind than a person. Zayn shouted pushing his fist in front of him as his entire form shifted into a swirling storm in the flickering shape of a horse. The stormy creature galloped across the room Zayn's voice sounded like white-noise from a radio. "Take him out!" The horse shouted as rain and lightening suddenly filled the entire room with all strikes arching at the professor.
The horse galloped toward Professor Sarang. blast of electricity were jolting off of the punching bags and snaking around the metal chains. Every bit of the storm was wired to head straight for Sarang, but the horse lost momentum in front of Sarang and from the cloud Zayn came flying out right toward the professor. The horse vanished into nothing and the storm seemed to have filled the entire room. It was like an indoor typhoon about to wash everyone of them away. Zayn's face turned from a champion charging to a frightened boy trying to control his fall. The ventus fell flat on his stomach at the professors feet. The rest of the group had their chance, but Zayn was clearly out of the fight. He charged up way more energy than he desired and he lost it all at once having no idea how to control that much power. He lost it all to lack of focus, that had to be the answer. He just wasn't focused right now. He beat his fist on the floor before his instructor. "Damn it!" He shouted in vain as he watched a couple of fae kids flash their sparks and flowers and was that an arrow that just clipped Zayn's ear?

Cethin struggled to keep up with Rune. He was moving through the crowd like a current in the ocean. Cethin watched a man fall to the ground and rune kick him. He didn't hear what was said but made a point to keep tailing Rune. Cethin saw Rune near the exit where the flow of the crowd continued to push in and out. Cethin was shoving people out of the way, but didn't realize this was just making a pathway to him from behind. The moment he saw Rune's eyes he shoved toward him only to be stopped for half a second and then pulled back into nothingness.
Cethin tried to struggle, but the moment where Rune was in front of him had vanished. Cethin tried to fight against the tunnel of darkness he was being pulled into and the crowd seemed to sink away like melting snow. It was a second later and they were back at the wall again. With just one of the thugs staring Cethin down harshly. "Who are you and what do you want with me!" Cethin demanded, but the man didn't speak he nearly punched Cethin in the side of his head enough to render him unconscious. His body crumpled to the ground and the man began to search his pockets.

*gradually climaxing clap*

Cethin might kill someone and so would Professor Bellamy

This already sounds like a blood bath

▾ ⋮ history:
Growing up never knowing his birth parents would seem hard, but he was raised by the forest dwellers and given a lot of insight on the world around him. Presumably, his parents were a nymph and an elf or one of the fae who reside in Alseid. Nash came into existence from a tiny ash tree key. It rooted in the dense forest outside of Syracuse at the border of an elf village. When the Ash tree became a seedling a small green infant began to grow at it's base like a fruit. The tree became a Sapling in a year and the fruit became ripe. A dark elf took the young tree spirit and uprooted the sapling while hunting in the forest. Bringing it into the village the toddler dryad was accepted as a member of the Alseid Forest. This placed him under the protection of nymphs, fae, and elves alike. His tree sapling was given an ornate vase and made to be a bonsai. (view spoiler)[

Nash was raised with the fundamental understanding that life does not end it only transfers from one body to the next. As life is energy and energy does not vanish, but simply transfers, Nash was made to believe that how he lives in this life determines what his next life shall be like. For a kid it's go big or go home and home was wherever you were at the time. He felt he had to become someone important so when he was reformed into his next life he would be left to already being important. It made complete logic to a five year old Dryad who hardly understood the connection his tree had with his life. Being raised where he was by dark elves and many other darker fae of Alseid Nash seemed out of place. He would try to have fun and be a kid, when others were ensuring there children worked hard at becoming adults. Slowly, this was instilled upon Nash as he grew up, but he did prove to be rebellious to reform and fought the molding of his current self at every single lesson that was taught. When time came for the children of his generation to go to school he followed in suit. The village he was raised in was made up mostly of those under the Moon's influence. Nash may be a happy sprite, but he was hardened by their darker culture.
Once he made it through the doors with his bonsai tree in hand he felt an entirely different atmosphere than where he had grown up. The city of Syracuse was loud and tamed. Nash only being eleven felt he was entering a entirely different universe than the great forest of his birth. It was like a whole new form of sensory overload. His first day he broke the vase which his Ash tree was placed in and passed out from the jolt that his life force received. Great first day of good impressions, right? He woke up in their medic facility of the school before he could even get placed in his house. His tree was repaired and Nash was sent to be evaluated as soon as he was checked out to be fine. Brigmore! That was the best news he had all day. Nash was more than happy to accept his house knowing that any of those under the Brigmore name went on to do great things, or at least that's what he heard.
By his second year, Nash had already established himself academically. He wasn't the best, but he was far from the worst. Any subject that caught his attention became a dedication for him to pass. He had nothing going on in his life apart from basic schooling and free time. He kept to himself due to others being rather harsh toward him, but by the end of his second term he made everyone that bullied him start showing respect. Somehow, a guy got the wise idea to shove Nash onto the ground. When Nash hit the grass he vanished. It was only seconds later that the boy screamed out in pain from something stinging the palm of his hand and then the other hand. Nash reformed to hit the guy square in the nose. Whoever he was, the bee stung him and he didn't come back for seconds.

Upon his third year, Nash made a few friends and a few enemies, but his enemies didn't concern him like his studies and his friends were always going to be his friends until he felt otherwise about them. It was in this year he started to establish his life-longs and regrets. He found the crowd that was judged most for being born under the moon to be his closest allies. Of course, people from his own village never associated with the oddball dryad plucked from the woods. It was awful fitting in where he didn't belong, but at the same time if he didn't belong he wouldn't have half of the friends he did make. He started to contemplate his life more and question his own boundaries. He started to set goals to acquire as much wealth and fame as a fourteen year old could. Nash became a brilliant math wiz and pushed on to higher academics by his fourth year. He was teaching himself business management and accounting unable to see where he could go wrong if he kept his path steady.
Fourth year was a little different for him. People start to make the lasting bonds that will make or break their future at this age. As most children, Nash did not have a clue in how he as being taught or molded into an adult, but he was very aware it was happening and everything inside of him wanted to go against it. He learned his skill with a bow during his forth year and mastered transforming into a single bee. It was then that he discovered what he was as a species. He learned of nymphs, fae, and dryads. It took a lot of studying and self-finding, but he was finally able to classify himself with a single group in a world full of differences. It was almost like his rude awakening. He found that travelling through Syracuse the high elves and fae were different than those who kept to the forest, but every tree he met along the pavement held a life and someone tied to that life. He learned that were it not for him being able to carry his ash bonsai around he wouldn't make it half as far from the school as he did, much less from the forest where he was born. He knew his boundaries, now he simply had to expand on it. The big question hit him hardest in his fourth year. How do I escape my weakness? Naturally, he would never find a way for a dryad to be unbound from their tree without death being the cause. However, he became determined on fixing the problem.
Now, in his Fifth year at a rather quick start. Nash has been preparing for courses he hasn't even signed up for yet and is wanting to hone every skill he can possibly come to master. For him it's not being the best of the best, it's be the best of his best. He hopes to achieve great goals for someone so young, but he isn't steering himself off course as long as he keeps his head in the game.

+•Tolerant - Patient and restrained, Nash is very capable of handling nearly any situation. His personality is kept in check and his thoughts are given time to process before he ever speaks. The true form of the phrase, "If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it does it still make a sound?" If he can't take it anyone around will be sure to know, but if he manages to make it somewhere alone he may just explode even worse than he would have in public or continuing bottling it in. It is a real coin toss that no one truly can answer until it's happened. Patience can only wear so thin, especially for a teenager.
+• Sensible - Down-to-earth and always wanting to keep a sharp mind. Nash tries to think before he speaks and tries to plan before taking action. He doesn't want people to see a side of him that he can't control or manifest at will.
+•Determined - Always going for gold, he is capable of reaching the stars. No one can see it on first impression, but Nash is the real go-getter. If he wants it he has it and it's only because he is willing to work for whatever he wants.
+•Generous - Never too greedy to give back. Where he lacks many morals he still has a heart for those who do not have the same determination as himself. Nash will gladly give to someone for as long as he still has something to give and get. He is the guy always flipping coins to beggars and trying to make everyone's day a little brighter by a single random act of kindness.
+•Loyal - Makes friends for life and beyond. Once you gain enough of Nash's trust he will become the most loyal friend to ever have your back. He isn't much in a fight but he is handy to keep around. For Nash loyalty is the only true core value he needs to keep. If everything changed about him all at once, he would still remain loyal forever and for always.
+•Dependable - Responsible and trustworthy, no one could ask for a better guy to help get their life together. He can have something done quick just through his determination, but he is also a man of his word. If you can't trust Nash who can you trust? A complete stranger could give him a secret for only his ears and he would take it to his grave and still never forget what the secret was. Teachers never have to worry about his work and friends or bullies always know he will come through with theirs too.

<-negative->
-•Possessive - Just a bit, mostly over his tree, which is understandable given the fact that if it dies so does he and vise-versa. However, Nash also has a darker side to his possessiveness. If anyone gets in the way of what he wants, which is automatically claimed to be his the second he wants it, they have a very short bomb about to light a fuse. This can be from worldly possessions, emotions, or people...it doesn't matter when this dryad wants something get the hell out of the way unless you want to see something closer to a maenad.
-•Persistent - Never backing down from a fight. Being determined is one thing, but if he doesn't succeed the first time he can turn into someone persistent who can become a problem, threat, or an annoyance rather quickly. This is the kid that keeps getting up no matter how many times he was pushed down into the sandbox. He won't stop getting up until he has destroyed your sandcastle and the bucket you used to build it.
-•Acquisitive - Always looking at what can be gained simply to better himself. He wants to get a good start in life, but many frown upon those who chase money rather than their passions. For Nash, one can only gain what is tangible otherwise you will never get ahead and gain nothing at all.
-•Avid - Passionate and Eager for life! Yes, Nash can be overbearing at times given that he is very enthusiastic for anything he is determined to have or do. He must always have the answers to his questions and he must always let it be known that he has a question to be answered. This can put people off at time, but he is only trying to fit in with the rest of his peers.
-•Decadent - Venal and so easily corrupted. It isn't hard for Nash to get ahead in life and want to stay ahead. If the bribe is a must-have count him in. If one can negotiate things in a manner that seem to benefit him in the long run this will probably be the guy to do the job. It doesn't take much to get his attention, but that's only because the one thing he is always going after is a better future for himself. His love for nice things is only part of getting there.

Olly OllyOxenfree!!!
Cethin glared at Rune not enjoying this encounter with a guy who is growing up thinking he is some assassin. "Why do you keep trying to harm people in public, Rune? We need to get out of here before one of those guys appear next to us. Tell someone at the school we were being followed and the staff will handle the situation." He tried to sound very sure of himself, but now Cethin questioned if they were going to make it out of the black market alive and intact. "If one of those vanishing guys snatches one of us and you stab them what if they leave part of you behind or take the wrong half with them?"
He wasn't about to get snatched by any filthy lower class and he was going to make it very well known if it occurred. Cethin felt his temperature rise as he pressed his back against the wall more firmly standing straighter. He clinched his jaw and watched around the market for people to be popping in and out of sight, but he couldn't see anyone in the crowd that looked like they were just walking in. He saw one face turn around and become an entirely other face lost in the multitude.
"Rune, seriously, if we stand here any longer they will have time to get reinforcements. My name is Cethin Orpheus and my father will not let me go down without a fight. I'm not going to get my hands dirty just because a few thugs want some money." He stared Rune down very seriously, "Do you want to be the one to explain to them that their are greater pursuits to go for in life than a students lunch money?" He felt his temper rising just at the thought of getting into a confrontation. "I'm all for putting others in their place, but I'm not going to get my arse handed to me, are you? Choose your battles, Rune, let's go." He urged his classmate only for his own security. He didn't want Rune's blood on his hands and he was not going to have anyone talking about the two of them getting their noggins knocked around like fools. If he was meant to suffer humiliation he would have been born mundane. The thought crossed Cethin's mind and instilled a greater since of pride upon him, but that was neither here nor there. He had to keep his senses at overdrive in order to stop wondering into his head and expanding his own ego.
