Totally my pleasure, Aniruddha. We all need a safe place to share our creativity, and I am doing my best to set this place in a way that will allow creative exchange.

We are ALL learning! A year a go I knew next to nothing about how to publish a book... Oh what a brave new world!

Oh and I think that a good story is a good story no matter how many words it has. In my own writing, I give great attention to every paragraph, every turn of phrase, and the story as a whole ends up having as many words as it needs to be told well...

Aniruddha, you're on a roll! This is the first time I learned about your love story, Love Connection--and that you published it on CreatSpace/Amazon! Good for you, what an accomplishment.

And about your blog post, I truly like the down-to-earth, humble tone. You have grown into your craft. Onward and upward!

Koyel Mitra, the author of this superb and wide-ranging collection of poems, makes two statements that are really questions. Thank you so much Koyel for thinking about me, I am truly flattered, but at the moment, my projects and the burden of promoting my books are quite overwhelming... Oh, these are lovely ruminations, Koyel, and they awaken all the senses! I especially enjoyed "The happy bell of my heart booms and dongs"--never thought of the heart as a bell before, and it is quite a striking symbol!

I am so thrilled that my interview with Author Alliance has gone live! I loved the way it opened, with this question:

I understand that that your father was a great influence on you becoming a writer?

I started telling stories and composing poems before I knew how to hold a pen between my fingers. My father, a poet, writer and artist, would write these for me, and even quote words I invented. He would ask me to help him rhyme his poems, and later on, when I was twenty years old, he asked me to give him a selection of my poems, for inclusion in a book of poetry he was about to publish...
