Staying focused, trying not to be a perfectionist and finding inspiration. I seem to get writers block a lot.
Her heart leaped in her throat when she thought she saw him. The way he stood impatiently waiting for life to go on was an exactly like him. He had the same facial structure, along with the same beautiful piercing blue eyes and the clothes were exactly what he always wore. Yet something was wrong about the man who had caught her eye, she could now see that it wasn’t him at all. His eyes didn’t light up his face with blissful recognition like she had just experienced. No it had only been who she wished to see, a projection of her hearts deepest longing. She went back to focusing her wandering attention to reading her book and letting the feeling of overwhelming shame and humiliation flood to her face and tingle down her spine. How could she have been so stupid, so naïve to believe it had been him. I am such an idiot for thinking he’d be here the same time I am, it’s almost physically impossible. He is dead. Character name, let it go. You have to let him go. She thought to herself. No matter how much told herself to let go, she couldn’t.
Prompt 5: A non-descript package arrives at your door. Inside it contains a gun with a note telling you to take someone's life in 24 hours or you will be killed. The choice is yours, kill or be killed.
Prompt 3: Part 1) write a story about how you met your best friend but lie and make it all up. Go crazy! Part 2) Think of your favourite celebrity. Now write a scene in which a character meets with them at a party. How did your character get invited?
