I've also read some commentary regarding the edition I have in particular. I'm wondering if I should pick up the Norton Edition, but it's $25!

I think maybe I'm just making excuses. LOL

61281 Hello! I'm Ruth, I'm 39 and I have two kids and a husband to take care of. I read a couple of books at a time - one with my eyes and one with my ears. I travel a bit during the week as a private music teacher.

I love reading and the earliest recollections to books I have are linked to Nancy Drew. I also remember my mother making me get into the adult books section at the library pretty young. One of the first books I remember reading there is Rebecca because it is my mother's favorite book ever.

I also started a group on Goodreads titled "Agatha Christie Challenge" as a part of my effort to read her entire collected works. If you're interested, check it out, but most of us have our own challenges to meet here!

One of my favorite books of all time. I read this my freshman year of college.

Exactly! That's how I've completed The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset so quickly, because I borrowed them through the LendMe tech on my Nook from friends all around the country. I'm reading the final installment, "Mockingjay" and so I've had to put aside A Storm of Swords which is soooo long, it desperately calls for undivided attention.

I might do Simarillion audio-style some day, but not on my priorities list.

61281 I've limited myself because I'm a crazy-busy person, and I have a large overall reading goal for the year, but I want to make sure I've read at least a few books that have been collecting dust for years!

1. David Copperfield
In honor of the 200th anniversary of Dickens' birth, I think it's high-time I devote some time to reading more than just A Christmas Carol/The Chimes/The Cricket on the Hearth. Maybe next year, I'll get to Bleak House.
2. Stardust
I have read some Neil Gaiman and I think I'd really like to get this one off the shelf this year.
3. Possession
I have had both this and Still Life on my TBR pile longer than I can remember.
