Amy shrugged. "Loving someone hadn't really been a big thought for me until this year when everyone started to care." She pulled at her curls, scrunching up her nose. "All the pressure to find someone and get married and have heirs. It's dumb and I hate it," she lied. She thought she'd hate it if she actually had this pressure...And her short time at court was already showing her life as a royal wasn't all cake and glitter.
Amy giggled. "Haven't even considered even one of them?" she teased. She looked at her feet, wondering what to do about the whole 'I'm not actually a princess' thing. Should she tell him now? She frowned. No. Later. Just put it off and it'd go away...Right? "Drool isn't terribly attractive," she murmured.
{Do you have off or are you hanging home sick or something?}Violet grinned. "It's true, though. Both of those things," she laughed. Then she drew in a huge breath. "God it smells so awesome," she muttered, leaning back so she was on her back on the grass.
{Yupperdoodlies! All week! :D The town over doesn't though, which is a tad odd.}Violet shrugged. "You have the looks. Even when it does kind of look like you've faceplanted into the ground..." she laughed. "And to be fair, you are no where near a charity case. You seem to be doing better than some of the people living in town," she murmured.
Amy rolled her eyes. If only he knew. "First off, no other princes have talked to me, though I see you've got your suit of admirers," she said, jokily punching him in the arm and nodding her head to a group of giggling princesses, "Secondly, none of the-" she froze. She had nearly let it slip. She was about to say None of the boys in the village have ever taken an interest to me. "-princes my father has ever had over have shown any interest in me," she covered. Robert snorted and unlocked his door, leading them into a friendly suite with light green walls and deep wood floors.
"That's dumb," Violet declared, carefully avoiding the compliment. "It shouldn't matter what you look like or where you come from. If you're awesome then people should be friends with you," she finished, munching on a cookie. "Though," she snorted, "I never really had friends as a child, either. Usually somewhere around the first time they say my toes webbing up 'cause I hadn't been swimming they tended to back off."
"Surprising?" she asked, raising an eyebrow at him. Had that been an indirect compliment, she wondered. Or just awkward small talk? She had not been prepared for this part of being in court. "Oh. Yeah. I'd like that," she replied, blushing.
Violet beamed at the cookies, but her smile fell a little at his hesitant whisper. "I feel kind of special now," she murmured lightly.
{ROBIN IS ON!}Violet's face lit up. "I LOVE COOKIES!" she exclaimed plopping down on the grass and grinning up at Damian.
{YESROBERTANDAMY}Amy stood quietly through his ramble, eyes wide and teeth at her lip. Finally, just as he was about to go, she tugged his sleeve. "I. I'm-I'm not. Going. With a prince, I mean," then she realized it made her sound like she was going with a princess. She sighed. "Not that I'm going with a princess, oh shoot this is awful. I'm not going." she finally spouted.
"That's awful," she muttered as Damian talked about his past. Then, he pulled away some branches and revealed the most gorgeous oasis in the forest. "It's breath taking," she murmured, wandering into it and spinning around.
{Somewhere in between, I think. Having an identity crisis. Because she is more fun to write when she's obnoxious. }
{Oh god. That was so sappy I think I might puke tears. xD }Bella's mouth dropped. He was good. "Max. That was beautiful," she muttered. "I just. I just want to be with you. And your wonderful eyes and your stupid cat," she murmured, eyes bright. She swiveled so her legs were around his waist so she could hug him tightly.
{Neil and Lynne are like, leaning in like "Ohmygodthescandal! :O " }She poked his cheek where his smile was causing a dimple to show. "How do you love me? I'm such an idiot and such a jerk," she muttered to herself. She almost didn't want to hear that he loved her because she was awful-so awful even Owen had realized his mistake.
Bella giggled. It was such a stupidly cliche line, yet so poetic from his lips. "You can find me anytime," she murmured back.
Bella stretched her neck up so she could lay her cheek on his. "But then you met me, huh?" she whispered. "It's always been a job of mine to draw the attention. That is how you met me, as well," she reminded him. If she hadn't drawn his attention they wouldn't be there at the moment.
Bella swiveled her eyes to the two at the door. They stood there, eyes wide at Bella and Max. She saw them exchange a glance. Bella smiled. The gossip would be everywhere by the morning.
Bella shook her head in a minuscule movement. "First of all, not if I love you, which I think I might," she whispered quietly, "Two, even if I didn't have feelings for you there are concubines in the castle all the time so how come I can't have a friend?" she murmured. "Anyway, things get boring here without some drama from time to time," she finished, leaning her head onto his neck.
