Um..."
Lol, I never thought of that :)

I wasn't actually that shocked when I read this, I mean the idea must have floated around many a person's head, I know I've wondered what it'd be like if they ever met. Though not too deeply. This I must say would be very interesting !
Barrowman talks Jack & River Spin-off
John Barrowman has been speaking once more about his ideas for a new potential Doctor Who spin-off featuring Captain Jack and River Song.
In an interview with TVaddict, he shared some thoughts on how the show might work: “I’d like to see the two of them prior to their lives crossing in some time realm where they actually meet up without the Doctors or anything like that and they are rogue heroes. Kind of like what Star Trek did in the very beginning, going around and saving civilisations without trying to get too involved, but they always get involved! They always do the wrong thing but for the right reasons and succeed.”
He added: “I think there would be a lot of standing off between the two of them to begin with, because they are two very, very strong characters. Very flirtatious! There would be a lot of innuendo going on. I think they would not do anything with each other for a long time because it would be too predictable. They have to be confined in a spaceship for a little while.”
However, Barrowman doesn’t want fans of the idea to get their hopes up. “It’s not up to us. That’s the one thing fans need to remember. Like when they ask on Twitter: ‘When are you going to do another series of Torchwood? When you you be working with the 11th Doctor?’ It’s not up to me… It’s up to the BBC. If they know enough that you want those characters back, they’re smart. But it has to be done right and done well.
“Of course, I’ll play Captain Jack at the drop of the hat if i’m asked to. No questions asked. But it’s up to [the BBC] to get the show off the ground. It’s down to financing and money.”

[I think The Doctor's Daughter should be the daughter of Rose - or wait she couldbe Jenny The other Doctor's Daughter, let me know what you think and I'll edit my post accordingly.]
Suddenly a knock was heard above the TARDIS, interested, and more wanting to move away from this subject The Doctor, his daughter and Rose without any introductions moved towards the TARDIS Control Screen. Meddling with a few buttons the screen cleared then buzzed with static as The Doctor and his daughter [I've forgotten her name :\] hit both sides of the screen in unison, only stopping momentarily with a look of slight shock - it still mesmerized them how much they were alike, even in the smallest most details.
Finally clearing, just, they looked up to the roof of the TARDIS where above them a young girl sat watching them in a tree.

After reading the below article on Doctor Who TV and deciding to post about it on here I suddenly got this fabulous idea. Why don't WE us WHOVIANS make a petition for the BBC to give Doctor Who more funding??
The show has always been fantastic even with a low budget; in fact some of the effects because of it to me have seemed uniquely better in some way. But we'll never know how good it can really get until we give it the chance with that chance the funding.
Below Steven Moffat talks on the hardship of creating Doctor Who on low budgets, this makes me feel more than ever that we should do this petition, if not for the show but for the team that work on it, to relieve their headaches.[image error]
Making 50th was “Extraordinarily Difficult”
Steven Moffat has revealed it was “unbelievably tough” bringing the 50th anniversary to life.
Speaking to Three If By Space: “It was unbelievably tough actually making the 50th. It was extraordinarily difficult mainly because we were trying to push the boat out and as ever we didn’t have enough money. We were making a feature-length Doctor Who on the schedule and budget for an hour. We’re doing it in 3D on the budget for 2D.”
However, he hastens to add that budget is not exactly a new problem for the show and “You will not see that on screen. It looks amazing.”
Asked if he felt any pressure with such a monumental episode: “It’s always pressure on Doctor Who, it really is. I’m always wary of the episodes where you announce in advance ‘This is a very important episode!’ because it’s up to the audience. Blink has become my calling card and that was a filler episode to get around a scheduling problem!
“So I’m very wary of saying this one is really good in advance. I think it’s a lot of fun and I think you’ll see some stuff you haven’t seen before. And you’ll see it in three dimensions if you don’t mind the headache and glasses.”

Welcome to our wonderful abode.
I was quite mature for my age then as well <3
I love all those shows too! Haven't seen Supernatural or Sherlock yet, but they are the type I'd get into easily :)
The shows you just listed just made me think, maybe it was our fandoms which make us so mature :)

I saw Rupert Grint, leanardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson and many more ideas posted on FB too ! Was it Rupert Grint you saw?

Oh gods Stephan Moffat we shall all love you forever if that is your grand master plan :D

TOM TOM WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THE UNIVERSE HAS BEEN DYING AND YOU'VE BEEN OUT DOING STUFF *hyperventilates* :O :O :O
That is one of my favorite emotional doctor who episodes, scratch that IS my favorite !!!
My mum and I were debating on Rose and The Doctor and how they were meant to be one of the things we talked of is if Rose was turned into a Time Lord...what would then happen??
:D I like that idea very much <3
