"Well, you not allowed to refuse," he said with a smile.

"Krissy, know that I'm your frined," Destrey said while looking him in the eye. "And if you ever want, I could help you train," he said with a smile. Destrey was known as an amazing Shadowhunter. He was actully pretty famous, for a kid his age.

"Why would someone call you 'weird' or 'not capable'? You seem cool to me. And either way," he shrugged, "If people talk behind your back, just have faith that the friends you have will be by your side. Of course, you have to talk to make friends. Plus, if anyone did talk about you, I'd probably yell at them," he said with a smile.

Destrey smiled charmingly at him, "Alright. Well first tell me why you don't like human interation."

Destrey couldn't help but laugh, "Alright. Since I am one for words and socializing, I will teach you how," he said with a wink. "That way you won't have to resort to 'So' or Anyways'."

"So?" Destrey said wtih a raised eyebrow.

"No problem," he said happily before taking another bite of pancake.

Destrey nodded, "Their my favorite thing here," he said before picking up a peice gently with his fork and bringing i to his mouth.

((haha! i feel the same though. It just seems...easier I guess? and its waaay cuter in my mind ^-^))

Destrey smiled at him before picking up his knife and swiftly cutting the pancake into pieces.

Destrey shrugged, "Why not?"

"Your not a baby," Destrey said with a smile. "You want some?" he asked, indicatig his pancakes, "Their huge."

The waitress brought Destrey his pancakes, "Friend ditch you?" she asked with a laugh. "Nah, he just needed some fresh air," he said with a shrug.

Destrey's eyes followed after him, his face a huge question mark.

"Your face is red...are you alright?" Destrey asked.

"I'm not sure," he said with a shrug. "Not to soon, but its not that far away either."

Destrey chuckled, "Don't worry about it. I can tell you miss Idris."

Destrey smiled slightly, "I use to live there. I would give anything to go back, in fact I was thinking of leaving."

Destrey nodded, "Have you ever been to Idris? I always ask this question when new peope come and the answer always seems to be no," he said with a shrug.

Destrey looked over at him, "So, where did you come from?" he asked.

Destrey picked up his water and sipped at it delicatly before setting it down.
