I'm terribly impressed with how you're keeping up with your reading while working two jobs and graduate school. I had a similar setup and I don't think I was doing much reading back then. Reading sadly fell to the wayside.

Hi Vicky! Here's to you and your more realistic goal of 75. I hope you are making progress on your goal and you've overcome your challenge of not knowing where to start. Perhaps a random generator might help? I've used those before in challenges where I have to randomly generate a number, and then I'll read whatever book it is on my TBR. I've also used genre random generators where a genre is picked for me. That helps me narrow down my choices.

Hi Sue! Hope all is okay and you're making good progress on your goal. I totally understand how Goodreads can be overwhelming. There is just so much going on - so many groups, so many activities, so many challenges.

I'd love to help with your commitment to be more active. Is there something specific you are looking for? Any particular genres you enjoy reading? Something that can narrow down the choices? I personally love challenges, particularly the monthly ones bc they give me a focus for my reading. Goodreads also helped me discover my love of readathons. I'm also a huge mystery fan so I sought mystery related challenges like our Magical Mystery Tour. There's a bit of something for everyone.

Oh, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks was such an eye opening book!

I'm having a pretty good reading year, too! I found myself guilty of either rating low or reading not so great books, so I've been trying to do better on both counts. 😊
