Romance
2. Would you rather read a YA or adult book?
Either
3. What three genres are you interested in reading next month? (I promise that the pairings are better if you're specific here. "Anything" or "Fiction" are a little too broad.)
Historical romance, historical fiction, fantasy romance
4. Have you participated before?
Yes

Strangely this year I have found that I have enjoyed YA books more than I originally thought I would. So far Julie Kagawa has been one of the most intriguing. I really enjoyed this book because it showed that even though the two opposing organizations hated each other some of the characters still managed to follow their true selves. They did not allow the conformity to trap them as some people often do to gain/maintain acceptance.

Strangely enough both this book and this author were something I discovered when I checked out the book at my local library. It was a bit of a slow starter at first but Ms. Kurland did a good job with letting the interactions between the characters build the rest of the story. I found the archmage's attempts to protect the swordswoman from various things because he deeply cared for her particularly relatable.
I am currently reading the second book in the series which recently, in my understanding, became 9 in total. I am also still working on some of the other authors from my original message to complete this challenge.

So far I have only completed (as far as finished books) 324 pages.

But I have 682 pages in progress on 10 other books. Most recently, I have been focusing the following books:
