Knightmare nodded, slightly put off by the fact that Sunshine shared no opinion nor expression of the same feelings. "Yes," he whispered, a million sirens going off in his head at that moment.

Knightmare avoided his gaze and studied the floor. "I've had tens of boyfriends in the past and have fallen in love with each one of them. . . But when I say the words, they don't return them. . . you know, they won't tell me that they love me back and, yet, they just want to get in bed with me. Thus I've ended many, many a relationship," he said, leaving out the part that a little less than half of those boyfriends were teachers at their school. He swallowed hard and brought his gaze up to meet with Sunshine's. "These feelings. . . They're hard to ignore. . . That is, how hard I've fallen for you. . ." He didn't know why he was spilling all of this to Sunshine, especially since he was certain that the other didn't share his own feelings.
So why am I going to bed with him? He thought angrily to himself even as he dropped his body onto the mattress.

Knightmare tried not to let his anxiety show on his face. "I'm a virgin," he supplied.

Knightmare felt embarrassed at the other racers' reaction and snuggled deep into Sunshine for protection. He took a deep breath, enjoying the scent of Sunshine. He looked around the room that they had come to in wonderment.

Knightmare moaned against Sunshine's lips and allowed the other to lead him away. His head was swimming as he followed Sunshine.

Knightmare rested his head on Sunshine's shoulder. "I'd like that," he whispered. Then, against all of his previous standards, he added, "Take me to bed."

((That's okay, in the heat of the moment, Sunshine probably just forgot))
Knightmare turned back around, a small hopeful gleam in his red eyes. "So. . . we can be together?" he whispered.

Knightmare looked away. "Didn't I already tell you that I don't have one, that and that I am gay?" he asked. Then he turned away from Sunshine. "And, I'm sorry but I can't do that. I can't wedge between you and her. . ." his voice trailed off. "You know what I'm saying?" he was still facing the other direction but now he turned back towards Sunshine and looked into his gaze. "She would hurt if you cheated on her. I can empathize with that. . . She would be hurt if you dumped her too but the pain wouldn't be as bad. Once again, I can empathize. But, you wouldn't dump someone that you might love just for a good time, would you?"
Unless you like me more, he was tempted to add.

Knightmare held back a moan as he studied the ground. He gulped, trying to find the right words. "I think. . . I think I . . . like you a lot," he finished in a rush.

Knightmare smiled softly. "I guess," he said, feeling distracted as well. He gulped and stared into Sunshine's eyes. "I-I. . ." he stuttered.

Knightmare's blush intensified. "I don't want to be linked back to who I really am. . . I mean, if my face appeared on the news, I wouldn't be able to go back to school and have a normal life, you know? My mother would be shamed. . ."

Knightmare shook his head. "No, that's the natural color," he replied. "My hair color is naturally white. . ." Subconsciously, Knightmare pressed his body further into Sunshine's embrace.

Knightmare's cheeks flushed deep red. He stole a glance at Sunshine's expression, trying to gauge if the other was sincere. He felt his heart beating rapidly in his chest as Sunshine stroked his cheek.

((I hate being a senior >.<))
Knightmare gave his head a shake, much like a dog. His black hair, bright red eyes, and the rest of his piercings were now visible. He suddenly became very interested in the floor under his feet as he felt Sunshine's gaze meeting his face.

((Sorry >.<))
Knightmare nodded slowly. "Yeah," he said. Then, he unhooked the strap of his helmet and was about to take it off when he dropped his hands. "Sunshine. . . You do it," he said, bowing his head towards the other.

Knightmare took Sunshine's hand and rose to his feet. "Okay," he said and finished his juice. "Let's go."

Knightmare felt his face grow hot. "How about we go somewhere a little more private first?" he suggested and took a sip of his juice.

"I'm fine. . . though I do have a weak case of hemophilia," he said, pulling his sleeve up and flashing his medical bracelet at Sunshine. He quickly covered it before Sunshine could get a close look as he
always wore it and didn't want
that to be the thing that gave him away. "But my mother has heart problems and is constantly in and out of the hospital. . . That's why. . . ."

Knightmare tried not to flinch at the touch. He was wary about getting close to anyone for fear of having his heart broken again. But more than that he didn't want Sunshine to find out his identity especially since they attended the same school. "Yeah. . . Especially to pay hospital bills. . ."

Knightmare nodded. "Yeah, definitely," he replied. "And the money will be greatly appreciated."
