51477 I've had a very slow week for reading and I finally finished Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop ...I ended up really liking this after it took me a while to get into it but I think the slow build was necessary to the story and the characters. Very unique story with a cast of colourful and interesting characters. I will definitely be continuing on with the series.

51477 Your jar is so pretty and your list is very impressive. There are some books there that I have loved and some I have yet to read. Good luck and have fun. Look forward to seeing what you pick out first.

Woohoo, Tracy you are getting through this challenge nicely, though a pity this read was just okay for you. I don't think I've heard of Ted Dekker, but hoping the read turns out better than you thought.

Lol this was when she was younger and she really did pull it off. Guess you'll have to watch it to see that the part was well suited.

Welcome Lucie and sorry to hear you'll be in hospital...hope it's nothing too serious :) but glad you'll find the time to get some reading done for pleasure as opposed for university. I too love TID by Clare, one of all time fav series. She definitely has gotten better.

Hey Eleonor and welcome. Those TBR lists of ours just forever keep getting longer and longer lol I trashed nearly half of it realising I will never get to all of them and am being really strict in adding to my list unless it's a must. Hope you get some time to read.

51477 Hey all, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that tomorrow I'm leaving for a long weekend away with my family to the beach...sigh! So looking forward to some R&R&R (rest & relaxation & reading). In case I don't manage to pop in our group, don't fear, I am just enjoying being "one" with the great ocean. Here's a little picture of Blue Lagoon at Bateau Bay just 2 hours away from Western Sydney Australia.

One of those cabins will be ours, right on the beach...sigh!
